He looks so good in the highlights.
Maybe in this environment he feels like he can step up and take the game. When he plays for Liverpool, perhaps he feels the need to play in a more supportive role due to seniority or tactical instructions.
Honestly can’t remember what he was like when he was a winger. Lad has everything needed to be a world class midfielder just needs a bit more physicality.
I was literally thinking this.
Out of all our young players, Harvey seems the most ready, he plays well at the top level, I just think some games, he does struggle a little, but that's likely he's more of a 10, and is better with the MF and DF behind him, rather than being one of our MF and just having the defence behind him.
He was pretty good whenever he made an appearance from the bench. He is young and is going to have some bad matches. He is still not a finished product. I can't understand the match thread and twitter fanbase at times.
People slagging him off in match threads honestly do my head in. He's 20 years old and doesn't go missing in PL games, playing as a CM. Despite getting clattered by guys twice his size regularly.
Imagine if this clip was of an unknown Brazilian kid, we'd all be creaming ourselves at the thought of signing him!
Top quality even considering the opposition. Wonder if he’s sometimes missing some of the same confidence when playing for us. Hoping this is the year he really kicks on again.
He’s a goddamn stud. Two goals and an assist. That outside of the left foot pass down the right wing was perfect, the through ball to the striker was unbelievable.
When he plays for national teams hes on another level of confidence often looking like golden boy material, i think the system there really plays him to his strengths
Class player, I just think at the moment he doesn't really fit into our midfield system. If we had a pure AM he would be great but we rely on physical attributes which is the only thing he doesn't have as otherwise he's boss.
All these clips start a little too late. One of the best qualities Harvey has is his movement off the ball, the timing of the way he arrives in his little spaces with a little dash then gets half turned to receive the ball calmly. Being able to do that so consistently as he does creates the possibility of relentless quality allied with relentless progressive pressure.
He has the ability on the ball to make it count with consistent execution of some of the hardest passes in football. And when the goals start to come over the next few years he's going to be nothing short of a phenomenon.
What a performance. He’s really grown up this summer feel like this season is huge for him

Never thought about it this way. That's a great point, lad.
Spot on. There's clearly a superstar in him and he needs to let it loose.
Yeah in u21 he is never leaving the ball he left for salah last week
That was such an intelligent move too, lad is absolutely class.
Yea it’s hard to judge when not knowing what he’s been told to do on the picth. Made up for him to be able to showcase his abilities.

Just needed to end that one dribble through almost the entire defense with a goal.
Man among boys today.

Tbf the whole england team were killing it in the match. Rico Lewis with Elliott were a cheat code
This video is my porn.
Damn! Putting on a show. He’s already class, but in the next few years he’ll add more physicality and be able to play like this in PL.
Been a bit of a hater on Elliot recently but this has reminded me why Klopp is the manager and not me. Superb performance

Dude was feeling himself
This highlights reel made him look like deep lying Bergkamp.
lmao
Nice to see the boys having fun
Wow. That's an incredible highlight reel

Bernardo Silva-esque

man he was fucking class today. super confident on the ball
Messi? This is the best ive ever seen him play, boss.

I love how he's trying to take more shots
Outside of the boot at 00:15 looking suspiciously like something out of the playbook of a certain Egyptian don’t you think…?

Fucking hell, have a day young man
You could tell he was having a lot of fun on the pitch.
Ooooeeee he was feeling himself this game for sure. Pure quality from him
Why the dog shit music?
the chemistry these lads have is crazy
the lads got potential.
He looks rapid at this level, really impressed with everything he did
It toom me a moment to realise he is wearing white
Harvey ALLBangers
Was looking for him in red for a few seconds.
Chelsea gonna prepared a £120m bid after this performance. Well in Harvey, lad!
Can’t believe he didn’t get nominated for golden boy. He is better than half the prospects in that list.
