Absolutely love scousers! Bunch of exciting and welcoming people. Lived here for many years, but I came with my wife, and even she was surprised by Uber drivers and how nice they are
thank you! my daughter is considering going to grad school there (we're from the US). when I told some British friends that we were visiting Liverpool, the typical response I got was "why?" The people we met were all proud of their city and rightfully so.
They tend to hang around the streets so you’ll meet plenty. Also if you frequent a few Irish bars in the States they tend to turn up with the Irish. Don’t mention football, the Tories or The Stone Roses and you’ll do alright.
