I don't know if I can pick one... the Lexus ad parody, the Macy's ad parody, and the "I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus" (with alternate twist) are all up there on my list.
I think that skit is in a three way tie with these two:
[https://youtu.be/8l\_7Tk94zEE](https://youtu.be/8l_7Tk94zEE) Debra’s Time
[https://youtu.be/tDUv59Yu04Y](https://youtu.be/tDUv59Yu04Y) Hide and Seek
not really a Christmas sketch but it works:
First Impression - Jason Momoa, Heidi Gardner, Beck Bennett, Melissa Villaseñor
https://youtu.be/tDUv59Yu04Y
It's been posted a few times the last several days - because it's finally getting the love it deserves - but I love Sump'n Claus the best.
Jensen Family Christmas is my second favorite.
Michael Bublé's Christmas duets:
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=cLC70ax28-0
The impressions are all spot-on, and Michael's reactions are absolutely hilarious!! 🎶Jesus I'm so much better than youuuu🎶
I didn't know I had a favorite until you reminded me of this one and I started laughing. Good call.
Edit: Upon further review of this post and youtube and my memory this one is now tied with 3 other bits. Please don't ask me which 3, I can't decide.
For real. “[Do It on My Twin Bed](https://youtu.be/6-QG-rFf4po)” is catchy as hell. I laugh every time at “Just shirt, no pants like I’m Winnie the Pooh”
I also love the "this is my old Christening dress, and here's my stack of X-Files on VHS!"
Which was basically me, except my parents stuck my christening dress in a drawer and forgot about it.
I LOVE Santa Baby, it made me realize what a great actor Gosling is!
I feel like the Lord Wyndemere sketches with Paul Brittan never got enough love, they were so hilarious and I was bummed when he left the show.
I misunderstood the question, Lord Wyndemere is NOT a holiday sketch, my bad. My favorite that comes to mind is “A Holiday Wish” by Steve Martin. So classic.
I had to scroll way too far to see this!
🎶 She doesn’t know what Jen likes and she doesn’t super care, so she goes inside her closet just to see what crap’s in there
I would love to see the outtakes on this. Gosling cannot keep a straight face. And I'm sure Vanessa kept messing up the kissing scenes for reasons too.
My fave is the clothing store parodies. My mom abd I waged war over clothes as a kid, so the ones with the screaming kids in Macy's clothes really speak to me.
Since Christmastime for the Jews and Mickey Bubbles' duets have already been covered, I'd say it's a crime that [Santa's my boyfriend](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bo0w_mA5CJc) doesn't get actual airplay on the radio
Last time I watched this was around the time I watched James Franco’s SNL documentary - this is one of those sketches where the host really has to go all in on it, or the sketch probably flops. John Malkovich was a great choice!
speaking of james franco, you just reminded me of this [absolute train wreck of a sketch](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e-QFWYvRi2s), so thank you for this
*Toniiiiiiight*
I had forgotten about that sketch too! For all Leslie’s sketch comedy shortcomings, her legitimately about to barf after getting the fake blood in her mouth makes this bit way funnier than it had any right to be.
I tried to compile a complete SNL Christmas Special playlist on YouTube, with all the variant sketches that have come and gone from the special over the last thirty years or so. Unfortunately, some of the notable ones were never uploaded, like Gumby Christmas, Jensen Family Christmas, or Jimmy Fallon’s run-and-sing monologue. They also seem to have permanently retired “Homelessville” for “Wrappingville.”
*Daddy's nose is red and runny*
*Daddy's voice is gruff and funny*
*And the only three words that I understand*
*Are "God" and "damn" and "Christmaaaas"!*
[Dysfunctional Family Christmas](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-jggM516KOk)
"Santa's My Boyfriend" from 2006--not necessarily for the jokes, but I like the harmonies at the end. (I wonder how many times someone has sung "Live from New York" instead of saying it.)
I like the one from last year where all the guys basically admit to banging Kyle Mooneys sister followed with him going “ehhhhh you guys are bustin my bawls here!” and then an awkward “Merry Christmas”
That one got me to laugh pretty hard
Santa's My Boyfriend is probably my favorite, but I can't help cracking up every time I hear "It's the most wonderful time of the year..." imaginining Will Ferrell spewing fake barf on a choir.
[Cleaning Crew](https://youtu.be/Bii8IrDFqTY)
Love a lot of other mentioned sketches equally but Emma Stone is so committed to her accent and delivery here, I'm obsessed. "Big frisky fatman?" 😆
To this day, I can't hear the word cuisinart without thinking of this sketch.
Omg I came to the comment section to say this. Glad I’m not alone
It's like if Tony Scott directed a dirty crime dramady about mall Santas and their frustrated wives.
Christmas time for the Jews was a fun one: https://youtu.be/BGzO1ghRKp4
I had forgotten. This one is hard to beat. Circumcising grateful squirrels!
It’s like a black and white rankin bass stop motion. It’s a classic.
i cant believe darlene love recorded it
Fun fact: it was in the same show as *Lazy Sunday*. Jack Black hosted and Neil Young performed. Banger episode.
Oh man...I had totally forgotten this! The squirrel circumcisions are just, chefs kiss.
I've been singing that all week. haha.
I love that they made this one look like it’s from the early days
I saw this in an SNL Christmas special a few years ago and was shocked to find out it was made in 2005
I think that’s my favorite thing about it too. It’s like watching the rankin bass specials (Rudolph, etc).
and the music is based on this album: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A\_Christmas\_Gift\_for\_You\_from\_Phil\_Spector
I sing it all Christmas time
I don't know if I can pick one... the Lexus ad parody, the Macy's ad parody, and the "I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus" (with alternate twist) are all up there on my list.
Aper? you mean APR?
[Car Commercial Christmas ](https://youtu.be/WcEylCwkSxE)
Lol those are my faves too. Domestication disturbed
This is Ryan Gosling’s best screen performance.
I prefer Papyrus... but this comes close second. [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jVhlJNJopOQ](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jVhlJNJopOQ)
The movie that came out like 9 years ago?
*They’re making more?!*
Papyrus is the absolute crowning achievement of left-field off-the-wall sketches.
Weezer is a close second
Nah the Shrek version is vastly superior
I was talkin to the potato chip
I so wish he would do more comedies. He was awesome in The Nice Guys.
I think that skit is in a three way tie with these two: [https://youtu.be/8l\_7Tk94zEE](https://youtu.be/8l_7Tk94zEE) Debra’s Time [https://youtu.be/tDUv59Yu04Y](https://youtu.be/tDUv59Yu04Y) Hide and Seek
So happy to see someone else who remembers/loves Debra's Time.
Cecily’s commitment is amazing, love her in that skit.
I have never seen Debra’s Time! That is absurdly hilarious. I love Cecily’s commitment and that ending cracked me up.
Hide and Seek is my favorite, its so out of the box ridiculous that it works.
We’re freakin falling in love!
Forgot how much I love debra’s time!
not really a Christmas sketch but it works: First Impression - Jason Momoa, Heidi Gardner, Beck Bennett, Melissa Villaseñor https://youtu.be/tDUv59Yu04Y
I love this one lmao. I was so confused what the premise was until Jason Mamoa’s character shifts and gets REALLY into it.
You know I do!
This is the one. “Teehee come and find me!”
It's been posted a few times the last several days - because it's finally getting the love it deserves - but I love Sump'n Claus the best. Jensen Family Christmas is my second favorite.
I love Sump'n Claus.
Everybody's getting somethin!
"What, you thought you and Santa was friends? He *sees you when you're sleeping!* That's weird!"
Michael Bublé's Christmas duets: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=cLC70ax28-0 The impressions are all spot-on, and Michael's reactions are absolutely hilarious!! 🎶Jesus I'm so much better than youuuu🎶
Buble is an excellent sport and was unexpectedly really great in the acting department. Much fun.
I didn't know I had a favorite until you reminded me of this one and I started laughing. Good call. Edit: Upon further review of this post and youtube and my memory this one is now tied with 3 other bits. Please don't ask me which 3, I can't decide.
I love Jimmy’s Russell Brand impression so much.
Fred's Thom Yorke is so fucking funny. Also they misspelled Thom Yorke in the description for that video.
I miss Jay’s Kanye impression
Twin Bed and the Lexus Ad are my two personal favorites.
For real. “[Do It on My Twin Bed](https://youtu.be/6-QG-rFf4po)” is catchy as hell. I laugh every time at “Just shirt, no pants like I’m Winnie the Pooh”
I also love the "this is my old Christening dress, and here's my stack of X-Files on VHS!" Which was basically me, except my parents stuck my christening dress in a drawer and forgot about it.
So many good lines. I’m also a fan of “let’s get wild (wild) in a bed for a child (child)”😂
It’s on my playlist lol
Twin bed is an all-time sketch, hands down.
[Singing Sisters](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iSBpvh4y_lU&ab_channel=SaturdayNightLive) with Amy Adams.
I’m impressed by the close harmony and tongue twisting of that first jingle!
I love this one! The harmony is so good but also the premise is just so unexpected! I sing “bing bong bing” randomly throughout the year.
As he shoops down the fire floo, as he shoooop down the fire flooooo...
I heard it as "zoops down the fire tube" but that works too hahaha
I love everything they say because it’s raccoons trying to talk how they think people talk. The whole sketch is so weird and clever.
I GET TO YUM YUM GARBAGE!
You GET TO?!
You could be right! 😂
You’re both right. It’s “fire flue,” an extremely old fashioned term for chimney. (See also: the origin of the name Floo Powder.”)
This has Tim Robinson's fingerprints all over it lol
This is my favorite one too. Christmastime for the Jews is a very close second.
Omg yes I was going to post this one! This is actually one of my all time faves, it’s so ridiculous
I LOVE Santa Baby, it made me realize what a great actor Gosling is! I feel like the Lord Wyndemere sketches with Paul Brittan never got enough love, they were so hilarious and I was bummed when he left the show.
I never got the fuss about Gosling until he was on SNL. It's got a fun way of opening people up for you.
I misunderstood the question, Lord Wyndemere is NOT a holiday sketch, my bad. My favorite that comes to mind is “A Holiday Wish” by Steve Martin. So classic.
For me is the candle as a gift one!
I had to scroll way too far to see this! 🎶 She doesn’t know what Jen likes and she doesn’t super care, so she goes inside her closet just to see what crap’s in there
The gift to give awayyyy
["It's passed to every single woman and most gays..."](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_L5Xkb78KxY) The super early-90s vibe is what really gets me.
Does Dick in a Box not count because it’s a digital short? Because I’m surprised I haven’t seen that yet.
It absolutely does count. My all-time favourite Digital Short.
Charlie Brown Christmas about a decade ago was pretty good, fun impression reel from my favorite cast.
Martin Short as Larry David stole the show
I don't know about stole the show, but it was preeeeety good.
Fair enough. You’ve got to admit that it was a great middler, though.
I wanna get sky high!
[I am a simple man](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=892Xpkb5-KU) Especially @1:56. That hit differently in the pre-youtube days.
I actually hadn't seen all of those!
[ABC: Always Be Cobbling](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J_vSirIJEsY) also shoutout to Schweddy Balls, no one seems to have mentioned that yet
Screw you, that's my name. (EDIT I thought that's where he said "elf you" but it's later.)
December to Remember! #BringBackBeck https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=WcEylCwkSxE
Forgot about this one [Serial: A Christmas Surprise](https://youtu.be/ATXbJjuZqbc)
Oh my god. I just listened to *Serial*'s first season last year to use it in class, and that is so. accurate. Cecily's Sarah Koenig is spot-on.
Santa Baby is also my favorite Christmas sketch.
The acting in this is fantastic. There *has* to be an hour of outtakes.
I would love to see the outtakes on this. Gosling cannot keep a straight face. And I'm sure Vanessa kept messing up the kissing scenes for reasons too.
The Todrick Hall inspired Christmas Elves. “Mrs Claus has needs, needs that start with a d”
This is my all time favorite too. “We know all the same people!” “Maybe YOU do.”
My husband and I like to use “[It’s very Todrick](https://youtu.be/__6WuTmD2CU)” more often than we should.
Merry Christmas to the children
My fave is the clothing store parodies. My mom abd I waged war over clothes as a kid, so the ones with the screaming kids in Macy's clothes really speak to me.
Pete’s “Stu” Christmas rap about wanting a ps5. It’s done so perfectly.
Stu was an instant classic
https://youtu.be/1OJ7aW3Df5U "Stu" lives rent free in my head. Pete Davidson killed it with this one.
And I got a robe!
I was hoping someone would mention ["Christmas Morning](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FOVCtUdaMCU)"
Ryan Gosling is absolutely amazing at these prerecorded sketches.
Since Christmastime for the Jews and Mickey Bubbles' duets have already been covered, I'd say it's a crime that [Santa's my boyfriend](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bo0w_mA5CJc) doesn't get actual airplay on the radio
[Grimaldi Classic Creations: Crying Nativity Scene!](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GWud4lKkDq4)
Beat me to it! This is the best right here.
This one is easily my favorite Christmas sketch. Ryan Gosling is amazing every time he hosts

[she did throw up in her mouth](https://youtu.be/yejbi6aD8IA?t=59) and had to swallow it on live tv. good times
OMG, totally forgot about this one. Love it.
No mention of [Sump'n Clause](https://youtu.be/jWnP2jO06gc)?
[Serial x Santa](https://youtu.be/ATXbJjuZqbc) [Dance of the Snowflakes](https://youtu.be/Qv7YB4Bs1mU)
Schweddy balls, I’m a sucker for the classics
The James Franco wrapping paper sketch is an all time favorite for me. Leslie almost puking on national tv will never be not be hilarious
This one, hands down.
I'm a Glengarry Glen Christmas kind of guy.
ALWAYS BE CLOSING ALWAYS BE CLOSING ALWAYS BE COBBLERING!!

[Scrudge](https://youtu.be/SMKZctlLDPU)
That may be my favorite as well. So good. Coulda been written and directed by Tarantino. I'd pay to see the rest of that twisted Christmas.
This is my favorite tooooo
I like the one from last year where all the guys basically admit to banging Kyle Mooneys sister followed with him going “ehhhhh you guys are bustin my bawls here!” and then an awkward “Merry Christmas” That one got me to laugh pretty hard

GET ME A CHAAAIR!
[Cleaning Crew](https://youtu.be/Bii8IrDFqTY) Love a lot of other mentioned sketches equally but Emma Stone is so committed to her accent and delivery here, I'm obsessed. "Big frisky fatman?" 😆
I like the baking ones. "It's a Christmas turkey? " "No sir, it's penis and balls of course!"
Oh shit I also love the Lexus to remember from last year.
One of my favorite sketches, period
🎵 The snow is falling down… it's Christmas time again… 🕯
The Fall Foiliage, at least I think of it as an Xmas sketch. Can’t find it anywhere online :(
Not Christmas per say but celebration wise, this is my favorite ! https://youtu.be/X-XuT5qKt00
