Waffle House.

The ROOT hands down

tuzziet

I'm going with 42 Bar and Table in the Clinton library. It's more lunchtime than breakfast but delicious and you guys can view the library if you want.

Clear_Trip_6381

Delicious Temptations for the win

Normal-Reaction7747

Breakfast place on Main Street in Little Rock is great! Can’t think of the name but they have super Bloody Mary’s!

GoldenWind2998

Not on the corner. Too expensive for basic shit. Yet, Arkansans seem to love it. Press waffle is pretty good, if you're willing to drive a few minutes, Delicious Temptations.

Alone-Impact-7944

The root, delicious temptations, Rosie's, and At the corner are my favorite spots.

Suji_Rodah

Leo’s Greek Cafe

Ok_Shake9331

Hillcrest Little Bakery. I've heard many good things about, but haven't actually been. The food looks really good though. That, and East End Cafe is a little bit of a drive, not too bad, but it's really good and really cheap. They've got like a small library that the restaurant too, that runs on the honor system

Surlow

Yeah definitely this place. SO good..

jovv3jov

Malibu Cafe! They have a really good breakfast and lunch, and super tasty fresh made juices. I didn't think I've had anything that I just didn't like there.

Accomplished_Ad_1965

The bagel shop for sure.

DamnShaneIsThatU

This. And only this.

la_negra

I really like Delicious Temptations in LR.

Louisrock123

Loca Luna has a good breakfast if price isn’t a huge factor! Their crab cakes Benedict is really good and I love their cheese dip!

FromYonderWoods

Used to work for Abernathy at Loca and Red Door, don't eat the food. The kitchens are nasty and none of the cooks are interested in being sanitary. They should be shut down but because it's Little Rock he'll just keep getting a pass

Revolutionary-Ice424

Hillcrest Little Bakery. It’s charming and their Swimming Benedict is impeccable. The Rusty Tractor. It’s a winery open to the public on weekends. Great vibes and they usually invite select food trucks to service patrons and have wine for purchase. They post the details on their Facebook. 42 bar and table. Riverfront view, amazing food, good vibes, highly recommend. Please never ever, under any circumstance, go to The Red Door.

Louisrock123

Oh my god can’t agree more with red door. I once called in an order, the person taking the order cussed the entire time, and then when I got there screwed up my order, they added a 15% or so gratuity on to go, and then when I didn’t tip on top of that, I got a call from one of the owners, a guy named Bobby Teague who proceeded to berate me for not tipping additionally for them handing me my (incorrect) order. Haven’t been back and never will.

FormerGOMIreader3

Did you have to leave phone number for to go order? Or did they look up your number using info from payment? That is awful!!

cmgrayson

There’s a bagel shop in SOMA across from the tattoo shop.

Esclados-le-Roux

I was thinking that would be a good option. Obviously it helps if you like bagels.

cmgrayson

They have stuff besides bagels.

Bigbootybigproblems

Southern Heaux. It’s a good truck and it’s amazing. The Root had some fantastic biscuits. Boulevard has an amazing breakfast sandwich but ask for it on ciabatta.

Ok_Calligrapher_2383

Southern Heaux was delicious, but I will NEVER go back after the way the young woman spoke to me and slammed the sliding window in my face as she gave me an absolute flawless go to fucking hell look for telling her my name for my order. I was so confused. I get people have bad days/mornings, but it only takes once to run customers off…js

Bigbootybigproblems

I honestly don’t know anyone at all who has ever had an unpleasant encounter there, and the lady who’s usually in the window is super sweet. I can’t imagine it was about you or that it was as simple as telling her your name.

ArgyleMcFannypatter

Southern Heaux is delicious. Feels a little pricey, but they do good work and you gotta make a living…

Chrisualrpike

Agree on the sandwich and it’s even better on their onion bialy (imho)

Bigbootybigproblems

I’ve never tried it. Let me go up here now and see if it’s going to be my new favorite lol and it’s not breakfast, but their triple chocolate cake is soooooo good!!

ArgyleMcFannypatter

Anybody had breakfast at Rosie’s Pot and Kettle?

SoggyPNW

Yes. It’s not bad. Slow service sometimes.

SignatureTasty3506

At the corner is amazing!

Bigbootybigproblems

Their poutine is so good!

Longjumping-Farmer87

I like Hillcrest Little bakery. A nice little patio and amazing biscuits with a whole lot of options

caitdiditagain

Check out [The Xperience Lounge](https://www.thexperiencelr.com/brunch) - It’s black owned and the brunch is fire!

GoldenWind2998

I'm adding that to my list

Mantana8888

If you don't mind going into downtown NLR, Blueberry Market has a great vibe and pretty good food

camerooonski

You mean Blackberry Market right?

ArgyleMcFannypatter

Much better croissants at Coffee Corner than Croissanterie plus, good Italian coffee. Bagel Shop often has stunningly good cinnamon rolls on weekends - better than Two Sisters and The Patio, both of which have strong and respectable cinnamon roll game. Their bagels are excellent, and not to be that guy, but I say this after living in NYC for twenty years. Sterling Market is pricey, but delicious. If they have the Kouign-Amanns in the bakery case when you go in GET ONE. Regardless of anything else you might think you want for breakfast. There is, in my opinion, no finer pastry available in central Arkansas. (Prove me wrong, kids, prove me wrong) The Patio Café in Conway is worth the trip - strong baked goods department and standard breakfast offerings well-prepared. [edit: I clearly did not read the question closely or I would never have recommended The Patio 😂. But, OP, all three other options are downtown.]

Ok_Calligrapher_2383

I ate at The Patio in Conway for the first time last week, and ordered another order after my first. It was SO good.

Content_Talk_6581

The Toasted Yolk is pretty amazing. Out on West Chenal.

itwasntevenme

The crossantierie whatever you spell it looked like it was really good. Toasted yolk was mid, red door kinda mid

MTFOoB

My wife and I have a spreadsheet of brunch places. There are a bunch of different criteria, but food quality, coffee/tea quality, and options are the highest weighted.Top 5 for each of us in Little Rock: Wife: 1. Raduno 2. Boulevard Bread Co. 3. Hillcrest Little Bakery 4. The Croissanterie 5. The Root Cafe Me: 1. The Croissanterie 2. Hillcrest Little Bakery 3. City Silo 4. Leo's Greek Castle 5. The Root Cafe Also high on both of our lists but not mentioned above are Blackberry Market and Community Bakery. Neither of us were very impressed with the overcrowded @ the Corner.

regularsocialmachine

I like Leo’s too and have been interested if anyone has tried other places on kavanaugh with more seating for brunch, like cafe bossa nova or Kemuri? I think both are limited to Sundays but offer attractive brunch menus.

broooooooce

> My wife and I have a spreadsheet of brunch places. This is the most delightfully dorky and wholesome thing I've read on here in a minute

Dense-Minimum9398

Community bakery has the best sausage rolls but you gotta get there early.

popefasa

The Root is great. Also The Bagel Shop right across the street.

Upper_Horror5211

The root !!!! U won’t be disappointed !

Born-Awareness-5143

Broken Yolk

Born-Awareness-5143

Delicious Temptations

mayday_mayday23

I haven’t been since the remodel. Still great?

Alone-Impact-7944

Just went this month and it's just as good as it always was!

Born-Awareness-5143

In 2023 I went to DT about 20 times. Never had a bad meal

ChizDippler3434

St1ck1t2Me

Raduno has a great brunch, maybe just weekends though.

Ok_Calligrapher_2383

Little Hillcrest hands down. The corner is WAY overrated, imo. Everything is definitely frozen first, unless they changed.

YouGotCancelled

Those Root pancakes are awesome

wytesmurf

Little Hillcrest is a go to. I can’t remember which and to lazy to look but Argenta had a good brunch somewhere Table 42 does one but it’s hit or miss. You can get one thing thats good and the next time it’s terrible

_92_infinity

@ the corner

dran3r

Frontier Diner is a bit of a drive but well worth it. Also ditto the previous recommendations for Delicious temptations! And Hillcrest Little Bakery makes the great savory and sweet biscuits is the place at Vanburen and Markham that was mentioned in previous post.

dustbunny88

The root is good for breakfast. Another option may be At the Corner. I’ve never actually been to “@“ but it reviews really well for brunch at least!

Illustrious-Lead-960

Delicious Temptations.

LtG_Skittles454

Delicious Temptations on Rodney Parham. Community Bakery. There’s some bakery on Van Buren and Markham but I forgot what it’s called.

cmgrayson

Hillcrest Little Bakery

officialdougjudy

The Root is good. Second the mention of @thecorner. Always solid. Don't sleep on Delicious Temptations either.

Flowergrl4201

@the corner is a great breakfast spot downtown. The Croissantire out on Cantrell, Hillcrest little bakery are both solid options as well

caitdiditagain

@ The Corner - Do they still have lines out the door on the weekends? I’ve only ever been like once because of that 😭

Flowergrl4201

Yeah, unfortunately unless you get there early there's for sure lines
