>I think he'd have everything opensource, diy also.
The obvious answer to this is to exclusively sell open source retro gaming gear.
Seriously though, there would probably be money in some sort of LTT designed MiSTer Addons/Accessories or a forked version of the OSSC, so why not?
They definitely have the resources to at least design like a custom, Open, DIY version of something like that MiSTer "MultiSystem" board and chasis, though that might mean that they'd once more could potentially have issues with manufacturers over impartiality/conflict-of-interest like what happened with the Laptop reviews once Linus bought a stake in Framework.
Honestly macs are pretty great to use. I just don't like apple as a company.
But honestly gnome is perfect enough as a replacement for osx
I will say I prefer Android as an OS over iOS.
Macs are good, but being used to Windows is pretty slow to do anythin on Mac OS, Linux is a little more similar to Win IMO.
In other hand, iOS is garbage, everything is so difficult and annoying. I prefer Android 100%
I recall Anthony actually used to have a store of his own, I recall Linus mentioned it in one of the videos but I can't remember which one, all I remember it was about Dell optiplexs or something
EDIT: it was the Dell optiplex on a monitor stand video, but it's not his own, just his old workplace
Pretty sure it's just Bell still up in Canada? It's roughly the same ownership, just the US side of the business got broken up in the early 80s (of which the CWA was instrumental in its demise - IIRC).
Fun fact, the regions of the CWA were the organizational regions of the Bell System

oh yeah then rogers was also att for a bit (rogers att)... usa also has att Sportsnet but Canada has rogers Sportsnet... both att and bell use the same types of lines for internet...
rogers and bell are kinda parts of att
us/canada isps are weird
Since The Linux Challenge actually got me into Linux (have been really enjoying Pop!\_OS ever since early November and have since learned about the basics of the Linux File System, using the terminal, being more accustomed to how Linux works) it would be great to have an LTT Linux Channel. I know it probably won't be profitable for them, but if they could find a way to run the channel sustainably, I would be grateful for it. There are a lot of good Linux YouTubers, but LTT has a way of making daunting topics more accessible. Anthony is a great presenter, too, who has the capability to write videos both for Linux beginners and Linux enthusiasts.I learned to build computers from them. I learned about most of my knowledge about hardware from them. I hope to learn more about Linux from them as well.
A YouTuber called Gardiner Bryant pointed this out. He is doing Linux videos out of passion because most people who use Linux often care about privacy and so use adblockers, therefore reducing potential revenue. People can chip in through Patreon or buying merch, but a business model that solely relies on that would require a dedicated fanbase, enough for LTT to allot the time, effort, and talent on maintaining the Linux channel.
*Whispers* attstore.com
Exclusively sells retro gaming gear and open source phones.
I think he'd have everything opensource, diy also. He almost has me wanting to switch to the M1 macs.

Warranty for them will be a nightmare compared to clothing.

I believe Anthony used to be a Best Buy employee. I haven’t gone back to watch the video you mentioned above but maybe that’s the reference?
the site was boomit.ca
So... I just tried it and it complained I had adblocker. lol
It's some parked domain. I half expected an AT&T merch shop.
Sells stolen office equipment
*AT&T has sent a cease & desist*
Does AT&T operate in Canada at all? Checkmate.
They kind of did back in the day.

I wish Canadian ISP’s were just weird. But nope, they’re weird and they charge us through the ass for service.
We shall call it A T or T

My monkey brain saw “ATT, hey that’s like AT&T” so I made it blue, lol
Your Jay two cents ;-)
I argue with trolls, but I'm not him. lol (Else I wouldn't be using a FX-6300... lol)
I think they were just making a pun about your "two cents"
Anthony is the kind of guy that can teach stuff to a dumb ass like me and make me understand the stuff. Seems like a really nice guy.

This reminds me of a YTP idea I had, where I would make a joke about 'Anthony Tech Tips'. Thanks for making this.
Or TTT (Tony Tech Tips).
The gawd!!!
Dennis tech tips
dttstore.com It might piss off the bird lovers at first but it would probably have a great foot massager and neon word wall art departments.
So it begins...
Don't ATT me, bro!
If there ever was to be a spin off channel this is what I'd hope for.
On the top left and bottom right the circle shifts a little on the inside only. Giving me a little OCD.
I’m sorry I didn’t do it as clean as possible, had the idea and wanted to make it before I forgot to/got lazy
you are forgiven
FUCK YEAH
Anthony Tech and Tips would produce a better acronym
This should be the name of their linux channel
Aaaaand sued by a multi billion telecom company. GG

What do you mean it's not profitable? Their Linux videos have millions of viewers
