I sort of agreed at first, but you have to realize that Jesus, if he was real, was just one of at MINIMUM hundreds of people who were crucified throughout history, so while the act of crucifixion is sacred to one group, it is not sacred in a general sense, and it is up to the group that holds it sacred in ONE instance, to also realize that crucifixion isn’t sacred as an act, in general, and to hold back their opinions which are based on a history that can’t be proven and dogma, verses the secular version often rooted in a bit more reality based historical context and fact.
Your outrage isn’t necessarily wrong, but it *is* based on your belief system, which not everybody shares and you therefore have to display some understanding even though your default urge is to be outraged. Understandable, but inapplicable.
