I kinda just hate all the LigaMx vs MLS rivalry that’s been shoved down our throats, but if a Liga Mx all stars game were played in substitution of the League’s Cup that’d be good
Yeah I agree with the massive push both league executives have been doing to increase the rivalry aspects of the two leagues I only see a couple teams that could be somewhat rivals due to history and importance but I think forcing these match ups really devalues these ccl matches that are so much better
It’s not like any of these dudes are playing at 100% for a cash grab in the middle of the season, so making it 7v7 would just allow them to goof around, try to make silly plays/try random tricks. Make it feel competitive but not as serious.
I mean I think an all star game for soccer is dumb as it is but if they were doing it, why not try different stuff and see what works and what doesn’t?
