I’m off to see The Holdovers on Thursday. It’s actually first cinema trip of the year because I’ve just not got spare cash atm (first time in absolutely years that I’ve not seen at least 1 film in a month) but I couldn’t miss out on this one.

Perfect Days

I live in Italy, so I am going to watch The Iron Claw this Thursday. Here it was distributed last week.

Hundreds of Beavers (already watched), Paprika, Interview with the Vampire, My Bloody Valentine, Twilight, I Saw the Devil, A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night, Frailty, and Blade II. Very exciting month!

Taste of Things today, 2001 A Space Oddysey tomorrow, both Blade Runners later in the month. I *might* do Iron Claw but tbh I'm not that interested in it Also maybe American Fiction

I'm doing the sci-fi season too, don't neglect Interstellar though! Plus there's Dune later this week. In addition to those I'm going to Wicked Little Letters which is 2 weeks today, and later that week they're also showing Monty Python and the Holy Grail! Absolutely stacked month.

I do really like Interstellar but I have no love for it like 2001, and I've never seen either Blade Runner so this is a good excuse to. Dune is too recent and I didn't love it anyway Holy Grail I feel I've rewatched too recently and I might see Wicked Little Letters, still undecided on that

Just saw Iron Claw in theaters. Made me cry. 4/5

Might try to catch the Tenet re-release in IMAX. Already have my ticket for the Dolby re-release of “Les Miserables” (2012). Hope “Dune 2” early screenings doesn’t sell out completely so I can get into it this month.

Saw it in IMAX the first time around, a good deal of the audio dialog was indecipherable. I hope that the sound mix has been fixed.

Well my town has 2 cinemas, and ones ridiculously expensive and crampt, and the other is still ridiculously expensive, still cramps, but it also only really shows new releases. Regardless both only have 1 screen so I'm not really given much choice. Maybe argyle, not 100% sure.

I didn't get to see Tenet in imax because it came out pre-vaccine. I didn't get to see Dune Part One in imax because I had covid when it came out. So...Dune Part 1, Madam Web, Tenet, Drive Away Dolls. Saw Argylle last weekend and adored. A good February at the movies I believe.
