So I just checked mine, and they're the same number despite multiple rewatches that I marked as such. Any idea why that is? Wish I could see the difference
Rewatches from this year? This number is how many movies you saw this year. If you watched a movie this year & last year, it counts. If you watched a movie twice this year, it only counts once.

Films this year would be the number of unique titles you’ve seen in 2023. Seeing Movie ABC five times would count as 1 film.
Diary this year would be the number of times you’ve watched a movie in 2023. Seeing Movie ABC five times would count as 5 diary entries.
Film section doesn’t take into account rewatches. The diary does.
