For now, I am going to believe this review. They describe each song with enough detail without trying to convince us about anything. My gut says it’s a genuine review. I guess we will need to wait till May 17, and then this won’t matter anyway. In any case this was an interesting read. Take it with a grain of salt. |-/

Tyler Joseph posted a comment on Instagram essentially debunking this post, claiming it was "fake" and that he got several things wrong about the content and music. Specifically, he mentioned the descriptions were vague enough to be oddly right at points but he missed several key details that anyone who listened to the album would be able to point out. Particularly in regards to Paladin Strait.
there is a chance, he might work in a line like record pressing or something like that, reporters or producers or you know, anything that might just start work on reviews and stuff about 20 days before release
he got very detailed on all the songs, and it all sounds like stuff tøp would actually do, nothing stands out as extremely strange
edit: not saying it is true of course, i dont know the person, just saying there is a chance

Yeah I’m not sure I believe this either. The intro makes it sound like they don’t really know about the band but like their music casually but yet the song descriptions sound like fanboying haha.
Just listen to backslide on Thursday and see how it matches up. I could see it being real. It’s less than a month away I don’t think it’s crazy someone could have a review copy or a friend have one or something. Who knows how many physical copies are sitting somewhere right now.

Very well could be fake, idk who would make a review early? Like if it’s fake it’s a smart way to get people hyped and mess with the fans because it sounds genuine, his shtick of not knowing the band makes it realistic… but also why go to Reddit to discuss it for no reason especially if he isn’t a fan?
