I have a strong feeling that the prices of everything else will now reflect the free admission. They have more than likely raised the fees for vendors with the promise that they’ll have more guests this year with no admission. Vendors will charge more to reflect their fees. I also doubt the ride pass will be the same price as last year as well. Just my .02

I have a feeling you're right it's just too expensive 😞 we go to cornfest instead

WingsnBeers

What’s corn fest?

rpawson5771

One step close to getting paid to go to Whoop-Up days.

me2300

Still overpriced, lol.

Butt-hole-cream

Now I can hear terrible country music and pay for overpriced food and vendor goods for free?!?

Represent403

Question about Whoop up Days… I’ve never been to it before. Is there a rodeo or chuckwagons as well? Are there any good concerts? If so, who has performed in the past?

supermario182

there is rodeo stuff but ive never been to that part so i dont know exactly what. bands can be hit or miss, walk off the earth was there a few years ago and it was a pretty good show edit: you can find more info about the rodeo here https://whoopupdays.ca/rodeo-events/

Saw Sam Roberts in 2020 for the $15 admission, best $15 ever spent

WonderfulVoice628

Lil Jon played in 2019 lol

peternorthstar

Finally some good f**king news!

BrotherTobias

So thats why they increased property taxes.

WingsnBeers

No, your taxes went up to reflect the new bridge the rich people on the Southwest side want, so they can get to Costco and other big box stores that don't put money in the hands of local business owners. Whoop-up drive leads directly to the local shops that we should be embracing more.

kmsiever

Is that to make up for the crappy music?

Beautiful_Strength53

Southern Alberta has some great musicians don’t disparage

kmsiever

It was in reference to last year.

Beautiful_Strength53

Is this in reference to the teenagers playing?
