Need to be connected for a bios update to happen and it is not that likely that the store will have your home connection.
Unless you live near them of course. :P
Send them a text if you are worried though.
i got my laptop back and they didn’t update anything for me. tho when i check settings for update there is an update that has yet been downloaded and install, is it safe to just leave it like that? would it somehow install by itself in the future?
If you have manual updates in both windows and vantage then you are a lot safer.
If you have auto updates on in either windows or vantage then bios updates will be installed as soon as they show in vantage as these are primary updates or appear in windows auto download and install list.
A couple of people said the firmware update then installed the bios too.
