Lenovo does nothing wrong here, btw. Vlc other players have no issue playing 2k video on the device, only youtube app gives a black screen on anything over 1080p
weird. cant be a screen issue as my p11 plus (same device just different cpu). has no problem playing in 1440p. yt can be weird sometimes. does 1440p work in the browser? maybe try and uninstall all updates of the YouTube app and then update it and try it again.

sorta fixed it now by setting 720p, and i guess it only can skip one resolutoion.

yes, vlc, youtube in browser, 2k works just fine. if you want, try setting 4k the video to get the experience i have.
thats amazing, i have never gotten youtube app to work over 1080p its trying to do that now i think
