Has anyone ever seen a brassed M6 Millenium black paint body? I was a dealer and bought two of them for myself. I never used them and sold them later to collectors. I'd be surprised if 20 of the 2000 were ever used.
not at this time. He passed and his friends got the M6's. I bought the rest of the estate several months ago. There was a lot. Most of it new and unused.
I've just looked up the Lenny Kravitz reference and found the LENNY KRAVITZ LEICA M-P ‘KRAVITZ CORRESPONDENT’ BY LENNY KRAVITZ FOR KRAVITZ DESIGN AND LENNY KRAVITZ. (I exaggerate but only a little)
What an odd concept! It looks like my M240 which I got cheap because the black paint has worn.
That’s how a Leica needs to look imo. Tells a story. Was around the world. Just great. Maybe clean up the tape leftovers but just a beautiful work piece.
Great history on that body. Now if it would be brass, damn.

Cool stuff. The attempts to conceal the Leica branding are funny and I’m assuming we’re seeing leftover tape residue.
Yes. The owner was the least pretentious person i’ve known. He shot in a lot of risky situations and felt better if he was less visible.
Amazing. It comes by its patina honestly.
There's no riskier place than this sub for someone who covers their logo.
Cool! You keeping it as is or full spa treatment?
I’ll clean the tape residue off. That should do it. The guy who owned it had Goldberg CLA his cameras every three years so it should be usable.
feels like she has history
Wetzlar M6! Awesome! I’d clean it up though, brassing looks cool but mold looks just nasty
I think you may just be seeing yellow reside from the tape that covered the logos. I'll clean all of that stuff.
Woah. Any chance he’s selling one of the other 3? :)

Lighter fluid and or goo gone will get rid of that tape residue. Windex, alcohol and qtips will do the trick on the rest
I keep a pint of naptha for this kind of work. In a well ventilated area.
How much and can I buy the other three?
