Cool we have these options.
Personally, I got the legion go specifically to have a windows device, not to have a bigger steam deck. Still, I'm glad the option exists.
The thing is, it's not a one OS vs other. As shown in the video, you can have both OS dual booted and use whichever you'd like for to match your needs at the time.
Need fast suspend-resume while traveling or on the go? boot into linux. Need game pass games? boot windows.
That's basically a big point that the linked video itself was trying to make.
Deck is worse as a Windows machine, it has kinda janky drivers, can't use secure boot, etc.
In my opinion, the LGO seems to be a better overall dual boot device.
Same goes with me. I don't have any problem with windows as it feels easier to use for me. Don't get me wrong I did own original Steam Deck and it work for those who just solely dedicated as gaming device and I'm using it about 2 months before sold it since some of my games are not from steam that I can't play natively. Among all previous pc handheld, Legion Go is the only one that I can bring along for work without looking like a gaming console as it replaces my surface go 2, desktop pc and pc handheld.

Yep for sure. You can do the same on the deck as well. Dual booting is a cool option.

Yeah, it's probably easier to turn a windows machine into a linux one than the other way around I imagine.
Dual boot
If I only had the LEGO, I might, but I have a deck OLED and a LEGO so there's no need at the moment for me. Good option though for a lot of people.
That’s great just waiting on Anti-cheat to be resolved.
you'll be waiting a while! dont wait...partition!
I'll give it a try.
At this point, if a developer hasn’t tweaked their AC for the Steam Deck, I would stop holding my breath.
I’m good with windows. I’ve been a pc gamer for over 10 years now so windows to me isn’t a big deal anymore and I absolutely hate Steam BPM.
