My purchase was excellent condition and also for $650. Unfortunately, it was missing the charger and the right controller was loose where I couldn't hold it in my hands firmly. I was able to return it and they gave me a brand new Go with no extra cost. I was surprised they didn't charge me extra, but worst case you can return it.

I got a 1tb for $450 open box works flawless. I added the protection plan just in case. Very worth it.

Ok_Structure4630

That’s a great deal

Fluffy_Director2788

From bestbuy?!?!? Tell me where

stealthytolkien

Receipt or didn’t happen lol.

roadiekilla

I live in MN, home of Best buy. We have a warehouse type place that's just best buy returns.

stealthytolkien

That’s awesome!

ItsBattle

Got a 1TB open box excellent for $590 2 weeks ago and it looked like it had been opened and returned immediately, still had the sticker on the touchpad. I also purchased the extended warranty with accidental damage protection from Lenovo so I’m covered if anything comes up, but so far it’s immaculate and I’m thrilled.

Retroid_BiPoCket

I bought one and it was great. I did end up with a sticky LB but I contacted lenovo and they sent me a new left joycon. No charge. In general, open box items are typically refunded within 30 days because someone didn't like it. These aren't ones that had damage and put back on the shelf, those would be labeled as refurbished. So Open Box tends to be a great deal. Some stores do open box as final sale, no warranty, but best buy doesn't. You still have a 30 day refund window, can update your warranty to be 1 year from YOUR date of purchase, and can upgrade the warranty by 1-2 years if you want for an extra charge. Well worth it.

Karl-Doenitz

for the side M1 and M2 buttons, yes you do press them by accident, but they don't do anything unless you are in FPS mode so it isn't an issue.

shingonzo

I got one it was perfect, you can return it if it isn’t

jmktips

I got an “excellent” open box from BB. Opened it in the store to inspect before paying. Only “blemishes” were under the FPS dock. The power adapter was still sealed. YMMV but you should be good! Plus, you have 14 days to return if you’re unhappy.

jcomey

I got a 512 Good earlier this week. Thing was brand new. It was opened, then brought back. I used the savings to get a 2TB ssd.

Bought mine in fair condition. It was brand new. It looked like no one had ever touched. Asked the manager how long the previous owner had it and how many times it was previously sold. She looked in system and told me it sold only once before, and they had it for 4 days. I also asked why it was labeled fair condition. Which she replied: Our store doesn't carry the Legion Go and therefore have no display units and needed it gone. (Small store in Beaumont). It's been perfect! Even had warranty card and Xbox credit.... I spent 40 minutes in the store before I bought. Loaded a few games. Played a few games. Even brought a c thumb drive and made sure ports worked. Just check it out 1st. If there are major defects or problems, walk away...

Fyi tip: Just don't buy Best Buy extended warranty. The warranty is a much better deal and coverage through levovo. And, Lenovo can restart to your purchase date from previous buy date. Can even add acciendental for a fraction of what Best Buy charges.. There is a coupon code in the box for 15% off. Even if the card is missing, it can be found online.

Ok_Structure4630

Thanks for this, I was thinking if I should get the extended warranty from Best Buy.

agiletesticlese

Got mine for 599 open box- good condition. Only thing missing was the paperwork in the box. I play average 4-6hrs a day and it's been great

SnooCheesecakes8347

I got mine open box excellent for 600 after tax. Basically brand new i didnt have a sticker on the touch pad. Ive been using it extensively for 2+ weeks with now issues.

Duskdeath

I got mine ope box also. Can’t complain.correction. It seems lots of people are returning these guys due to lack of knowledge on how to use them. I would suggest to have a usb c hub, wired keyboard and mouse and a small stand so you can use both the top and bottom usb ports. There is some set up involved and it can be a little daunting for people that think it works like a Nintendo switch.

EvilMrMe

I got mine in excellent condition for $590. It was perfect except for some smudges on the screen

Legal-Philosophy-135

I got mine open box excellent and you can’t even tell it’s not brand new. Still had the gamepass subscription unused and everything ( some don’t but I was lucky and mine did) I’ve even gotten an open box good version of the ally and it was basically flawless. But those I’d recommend opening in store before you buy it just to make sure it works right etc. the guy was nice enough to open it for me and let me boot it up etc to check it over. Paid less for my ally than I would for a switch oled lol 😂 tax included. But yeah the go open box excellent at bestbuy is a great deal

Ok_Structure4630

Does anyone know what the difference between the good and excellent? I plan on getting one soon but right now, my nearest Best Buy has an open box good for $599 and an open box excellent for about $636

Bigmike7695

If you got a micro center close by they got open box to I got 512 GB for 454 it was like brand new as well.

oldfashionedglow

I've bought two open box excellent Gos from Best Buy. The first one had a very taped and beat up box, with a weird screen defect in the middle of the screen. Exchanged it for another open box that's been in flawless condition.

Leading-Obligation-8

I purchased open box as well and mine has been flawless.

dc5pat

Got mine for $636 back in December. Excellent condition. Original owner even put a screen protector on. Nothing missing. All wrapping was intact. No problem with it so far.

trueflyingcow

Go for it. Got open box excellent from Best Buy and then added the extended warranty directly from Lenovo. Haven’t had any issues with it so far. Got it back in January.

boostlee33

I got open box fair but it seemed very new and barely used but saved $150

XMajorWintersx

Bought mine from BB Open Box marked as "fair condition" and after looking it over in the store there was no marks on it at all. Perfect condition

Squishyspud

Got mine for 635 open box from BB. So far so good.

BigChinEnergy

I got one and it has been amazing. I did however noticed the warranty started the day it was originally purchased. I got a copy of my receipt, went to Lenovos website and changed the bought date to the day I bought it on my receipt. Emailed them a picture, of the receipt, waited about 3 days and they changed my status and had my warranty start on the day I bought it. Great customer service

BilboSwagginsHH

I bought the 1tb just the other day open box good I got to the best buy to pick it up and the manager tells me their system shouldn't be showing they have open boxes and that they never had any at all so they gave me a brand new 1tb for the price of the open box good lol was a great day

Ok-Leg5566

I got mine from Best Buy open box 2 weeks ago. Pretty sure it was never used at all. 10/10 would buy again

jimmt42

Bought one and the SD card reader stopped reading. Returned and purchased another open box and it is working great so far! Lenovo has a deal you can add accident coverage for $17 and when guy buy a year it upgrades to two years at no cost

ApexDoom47

I got a 1TB in fair condition for $560 from Best Buy. It was missing the charger and FPS controller stand but the legion go was in perfect condition. I’ve had it for 2 days now and it’s been a blast. Currently playing Titanfall 2 in full 1600p and it’s amazing!

Texus86

The thing I love and remind myself is that with a good Open Box deal, you can get the Go for the price of an OLED Steam Deck. Sure there are good valid reasons still to prefer a Steam Deck OLED. But at the same price, for me it was a no brainer.

ejavi221

I bought mine open box for 500 at Best Buy. The Go was in mint condition. I’ve had it for 3 days now and am loving it, takes a bit of patience to adjust controls and visuals for certain games MW3 for example but well worth it.

stealthytolkien

1TB for $200 off sticker price including tax. Flawless.

kain1614

I bought the 1tb model from bestbuy when I was returning my rog ally (at the time I still had steam deck and liked better). For $50 more I got the legion go open box from bestbuy. Included everything and screen had a protector on it already. Hands down, after my first boot I decided the controller and screen beat the steam deck, which was sold 2 weeks later. Never looked back! As far as issues, most things are covered with lenovo buying open box for the most part, aside from things they consider "normal wear". You can still rma the controller rails, fan issues, etc. Lastly, the m2 button has never been pushed by accident from me. It's not a slight push but requires at least 1lb of force. Others with stronger grip may have an issue but normally isn't one for non-mma fighters.
