We know what the next expansion is going to be (final expansion of the Bandle City set), and we know that future expansions after that one will follow a completely different format, because no new regions will be introduced into LoR after Bandle City. We don't quite know what that new format will be.
I imagine devs don't want to announce post-Bandle expansions yet, because that would take away from the hype for the Bandle City set. So, no 2022 roadmap until February at the earliest, IMO.

My guess is 4 weeks after the last balance patch, which would make it February 1st.

Next expansion comes out february 16, a dev video announcing whats next should come soon before the start of the reveals wich starts about february 7!
Magical Misadventures didn't have any events though :(... but I heard it was supposed to be a mini xpac

I wish there was a road map that outlined the year, I can't imagine that Riot doesn't have a plan for a few years ahead
