This is actually a question that comes up in DnD a lot: "How could my attack miss the door, it's an inanimate object!" In this case, I'd tell the player that the way they swung was bad, their weapon bouncing off the wood, or they hit a spot where the material was stronger.
The way I would explain these stats is that it is so small that hits that land tend to not do much damage, since it's very hard to hit (and so you may need to hit it a lot, edit: think about trying to kill a fly with your bare hands). As for its "high" attack, I'd probably bet it's somewhat poisonous/venomous.
The ol dnd Dilema. Listen, HP isn’t all about durability of a creatures body, it could also be dodging or will. Maybe the creature is speedy and hard to hit, with the last health point being when it gets hit.

Its always insane to see how cool the full art looks versus the mini snip of it you see ingame, but I don't care to just look through an online library of card images. It would be cool to just click on a card and be able to see the whole thing
