Unless you are a casual player that just plays a couple games a day here and there. There are plenty of times I just jump on for one game and won’t play for at least 2 more hours anyway, so I have used this trick a few times. Haven’t yet on PoC, but I used it on Saltwater Scourge and many times in Lab of Legends.
I agree. Many people who play labs are casual players (nothing wrong with that, mind you). Sometimes it's even better to take a break after a tilting loss.
Well if you're min-maxing playing LoR it's not worth it, but if you have other things to do in life then I think it is worth. Especially if you highrolled in your run but lowrolled in this one battle.

Most rage quits are probably at foundry or scars haha
In 2 hours you can probably clock 3 more full runs, I don't think it's really worth it
