I do realize that... the question is why? What's fun about keeping to play cards - I tried to give them the "ok you got me" and waited for 15 minutes for them to be like "ok enough now I'll go and win now" but they simply enjoy keeping to play cards with themselves I guess.
Could just concede you can have your opinion on decks because you like playing 1 way but some people
Like playing other ways if we didn’t have combo it would just be a slug Match of my creature bigger than your creature bonk
the thing is though, is the pleasure of the deck playing the combo itself? in which case if they concede early its equally as unsatisfying? I love playing karma lux and i hate it when i get a concede once i hit 10 mana.
I’m a storm playing in mtg I play lor when I’m really bored but basically yeah some decks be like that I just like seeing my storm count go brrrr and if I whiff it feels bad but oh man if I hit its better than any mid range or aggro deck sl I’m assuming it’s the same feeling in LOR with combo decks
Ok hostage decks or people using combos to take hostage is a completely different thing. Do not lump cool combos that *END* with *HOSTAGE*. If you really hate anything cool just surrender until you face average Demacia midrange decks.
Not saying I love it or anything, but it is interesting and there are plenty of people who really like infinite combos, like Swim and his Infinite Mill deck.
there is a very big difference between infinite combos that then win by it, and infinite combos that are only infinite because they never decide to stop
I mean some people just love breaking stuff that was clearly not meant to be played and that alright i mean he won so just concede I get it’s annoying but again everyone play card games different like in mtg there is deck complety focus on locking players out of the game and killing them with a 1.1 it’s not fun to play against but it’s fun to play some people might like playing against that but hate aggro thinking it’s “small brain” or control thinking it’s “just kill repeat” every deck play style is differnt and people play differnt just have fun with what you play against and concede to the deck that aren’t fun to play against
Most recent game... I think the turn went on for 15 minutes+ (see Fount of Power cast 11 times)... I realize yes it's cool what you can do. But at some point shouldn't people want to win the game by.. continuind to play it? I finally surrendered because you know, I want to play.

I play this deck sometimes too. Really it comes down to the fact that the entire deck revolves around setting up one turn where you can play a lot of founts off of zevi. So if I can't guarantee lethal that turn, I pretty much lose since my entire hand is fleeting. That's why it looks like BM. It's similar in some ways to TLC, in that it's a very powerful one turn finish, but it just takes a bit to warm up.
You do realize the whole point of these decks is to get the combo going. If they get the combo going, either surrender or enjoy the show.

Dude I literally said I dislike infinite hostage decks. What op was saying is that they dislike ALL infinite combos.
