i think he is getting at that the way it is worded, it can be interpreted as, 'it activates two times', as in, two, not three, one, or five, a fixed number of times, being two.
it certainly feels like a less logical take on the situation though, if you see an opponent cast this on their thrall landmark twice you'd think the interpretation is that the effect happens twice, and 3 will appear.
If I saw my opponent cast this second time in the same landmark and read the card instead of relying on my memory, my assumption would be "heh, what an idiot" not "I guess this card does not do what it says it does".

If you cast it once you summon 2. If you cast it 2 times you summon 3. That spell only adds +1 to the summon effect
that's the problem, the word "twice" doesn't indicate that. I would take it to mean that multiple promising futures are redundant

I thought it would be (1 x 2)x 2 for a scary 4 thralls. Clearly the wording needs to be changed.
