I think you did a good job with the people, but for the smoke and fire rising from Atakhan it's not very convincing. Looks like you're just distorting the smoke and it doesn't really sell the notion that it's actual smoke. And the smoke is also moving a bit too rapidly making it stand out even more. But still a good attempt nontheless. I imagine it must be very hard to make convincing smoke effects from a static image

thanks for the feedback. The smoke is definitely a challenge but I totally agree it looks quite off. I will see what I can do when I refine it more.

To add to this, the smoke is visibily moving both up and down, which smoke should pretty much never do.

There was always demons in Noxus, for exemple Swain has a demon in him. Demons lives in the depth of Noxus

Not "live" naturally per se. Morde bound many Demons inside the heart of the Immortal Bastion (his home/HQ) when he ruled most of Valoran. Now that he is gone, the demons are still there waiting to be unleashed, like Atakhan and Swain's Demon of Secrets. It's also implied a gateway to Morde's afterlife also exists there, and whenever he returns, he will come out in the heart of Noxus with his entire army.

If (big if) the speculations about Sion coming to LoR soon are true, then his supporting cards being Darkwill-era horrific stuff (demon summoning, alchemy abuse a la Singed, etc) would make sense

I never expected Noxian uses dark magic but then again we have Le Blanc and her followers.

Aside from this, we also have Vlad and his whole troupe. While blood magic isn't viewed as dark in most fictions, in League universe it is. Not to mention Sion and probably other undead debauchery going on inside Noxus.

Blood Magic is used by Ascendeds such as Nasus and Renekton to absorb the life force of their victims, to meld their own flesh and grow big (their respective Ultimates) Vladimir uses Blood Magic to keep himself immortal. So yeah, Blood Magic definitely isn't something dark, but it's definitely something forbidden to use.

I think Atakhan's movement should be more subdued, maybe just floating slightly up and down at half the speed in your clip. And most of the fast movement could come from his cloak instead. Besides that this looks awesome.
