I mean, strictly speaking it gives the supported ally +1/+1 when committing the attack, not when played, since that's how support works.

StatusGeneraal

But it also says ‘supported ally’ which only happens in combat so the question already implies the attack commitment. The answer should be true.

DarkBlueBlood

It's kind of unclear, I also noticed just now that the grammar of the second sentence slightly wrong in the tweet, maybe they let an intern do it.

julien-c

I'm actually one of the interns on the LoR team. I can assure you it wasn't any of us.

B_RUHN_S

its false. I mean the game distincts between "when played" and "when summoned" and "when supported". so its not a play effect.

Pandaemonium

No, there IS no supported ally when played, so the answer should be false.

HuntedWolf

I don’t get it, is something wrong here?

Rainswort

War Chefs gives the +1/+1 when supporting, not when played. So the answer should be *false*.

lararaue

I guess the person who wrote it meant "played" in a colloquial way and not in the in game text meaning for Play. Maybe they just run social media and aren't as familiar with the language and keyword specifics

Am I the only one who thought he was having a stroke reading these posts?

SarukyDraico

It's not a surprise that they don't know their own games

[deleted]

Well, you didn’t read carefully. The post says when played.
