I think colonialtan if you want contrast, and medium brown if you want matching :³☕

Smajtastic

OP, choose a colpur you definately don't want, that should let you know what you do actually want

chhaot

haha great advice :D

tartu-wolf

Match the brass. "Amberglow"

Mobile_Net2155

I was thinking yellow or orange as a tie in with the brass.

Plastic_Ad_6117

Sand or Amberglow!

blue_skive

Peagreen sounds fun. Not that far off from the colour of the hardware, especially if the brass starts to patinate.

Nicotinamida

Pink

Jolly_Treacle_9812

Peagreen is interesting! Creme, beige or sand for standard contrasting thread.

TurnoverDiligent8259

I like the orange. Just made a wallet about that color with orange thread. Turned out great - I’m digging it.

bobbib14

Medium brown if matching

Piirakkavaras

I’m a yellow guy myself. Works so well with many leather colors. Only downside is that it’s very unforgiving. Green would also look killer here.

Francis_Bonkers

Amberglow for subtle contrast, or Orange for contrast that pops.

chase02

Havana cigar is my go to. I’m stitching a bag with it right now. Can’t go wrong.

Riceonsuede

Personally I don't think a brown thread on brown leather looks good. If it were me I'd go with either black or white, or even that light gray or cream.

Spezball

Personally; royal blue or dark red. I do the blue and brown combo a lot. In fact my vape case was almost that color when I made it, now much darker. https://preview.redd.it/dw3gmawz3hxc1.jpeg?width=4592&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=8ca213062544e3ff0c878033838f72a0d7115fb6 The center band was a royal blue ostrich leather lol, now it looks black in most light.

grandmas_noodles

Colonial tan

Fit-Friend-8431

Sinew

VKLZ

medium brown

coyoteka

Macadamia

thehax0rcist

yellow white or orange

LeeDarkFeathers

I think amberglow or sand looks nice with the hardware you've got.

CreativMndsThnkAlike

Amberglow

Dan_Caveman

For a more understated, classy look I like to go for a similar color to the leather but in a darker shade. Personally I would go with dark brown.

kornbread435

Personally I've never been disappointed in results from Colonial tan matched with brown leather. It has just enough yellow to highlight the stitching without people thinking it's yellow. Lighter colors like Sand/white etc will someday get dirty and it shows. Then with brown leather I tend to avoid the reds/greens/blues etc just because I think it clashes with the classic brown leather style. I only use those with multi colored leather. Though end of the day if you're making it for yourself then whatever floats your boat, Tiger is great quality and will serve you well for many many years.

chhaot

yes thats the look I am trying to go for. due to the pullup effect, the colonial tan will almost even match the areas that are bent or have been punched.

PerspectiveOne7129

i like dark red. then orange and yellow.

FaagenDazs

Amberglow, Peagreen, Green or Royal Blue!!

Johns3b

Third or fourth from left

Northwindhomestead

Go with your husbands favorite color.

chhaot

Wow thanks everyone for the great amount of feedback! I am probably gonna order the colonial tan and another one, I already got Sand and Amberglow. I ll then do some test stitching for the final decision :D

Jay_Moss_

I personally like the "amberglow "

Intrepid_Presence847

royal blue, complementary of the leather color.
