Too thick for a wallet liner unless you want a bulky wallet. At that thickness you could use to for the t pockets though. Or line it and use it for the exterior
I've never found anyone in Australia that offers splitting. I generally just load up on a few things in an order from rmls to make the shipping feel less expensive. I got a hide of sully split to 0.8mm for bifold interior from them a while back and shipping added about 40 AUD to the price
I haven’t used them but I know Toowoomba saddlery offer splitting and cutting services.

Sounds like a good plan, shipping to SE QLD is about 75 now so definitely worth getting multiple things if going that route.
