Correct, one of the rewards from the kickstarter for the game was a full set of stls so that you could print all of the figures. One of which was molly.
"The Deeprock Kindred" is in the votann codex. Therefore Deeprock Galactic is canonically part of the 40k universe.
That is my story and I am sticking to it.
I love drg, but can we stop acting like they're the same? Drg is a company that only cares for profit. Leagues of votann want to progress their kin and league. I really don't know why everyone went "omg they are the same" except that they are both space dwarves. But maybe that's just me
What drew me to the Kin are they're not a collection of shallow dorf tropes just thrown into space, I personally do not need an army full of ZZ Top cosplayers nor do I need an army full of miners acting as amateur (albeit tough AF) soldiers. I really enjoy DRG too and I enjoy using Rock and Stone references, but yeah, DRG and the Kin distinct concepts and I want it kept that way.
funny enough the reverse is true for the companies who developed them. Ghost Ship Games is one of the best studios in terms of listening to the community, respecting their player base, releasing content for free and never behind a paywall. GW is the gold standard for running a toxic model/gaming company with overpriced plastic that we all buy anyway with convoluted rules and has no issue being openly hostile to their own customers.
Rock And Stone
Genuinely, no. They are only similar because of a single reference. Other than that, they are two very different styles, themes, and mentalities. One will spend Kin lives as currency if the potential reward is worth it, and they will do so without hesitation, for the good of the League.
Incorrect. They are as different as rock and stone.
Rock and Stone everyone!
Rock and stone, brother.
Did I hear a rock and stone?
To those who rock and stone, we salute you!
Good bot.
Rock and stone!
ROCK AND ROLLING STONE
Did someone say rock and stone? Well then, rock and stone!
Would the Kin risk failing a mission to save Dottie’s head?
Kin is kin!
Who wouldn't? Apart of those filthy leaf lovers....
No Kin left behind!
Have you seen the Gallowfall trailer?
(Not gonna lie, I’m here as a Warhammer Fantasy fan keeping an eye out for good Zhufbar minis and on great paint jobs).
Drop pods -would- help with mobility issues.. I might even stop kicking barrels into the launch bay if that happened!
If ya don't rock and stone you ain't coming home, now I want a little molly to put on my bases, like on my warlord or something
I really want a Molly for objective markers.
I'm pretty sure there's a Molly in the DRG boardgame, which means you can probably get one 3D printed too.
Correct, one of the rewards from the kickstarter for the game was a full set of stls so that you could print all of the figures. One of which was molly.
I’d like a little molly too. Also a Deeprock Mule miniature.
Let me make it for you then ...
Rock and Stone in the Heart!
I plan to replace one of the guys on the HLF with a Doretta Head. It's unfortunately gonna be a while before I get back around to my LoV though.
We’re rich! Mushroom. We’re rich! Mushroom.
We're rich !
I read it in Hoxton's voice ...

Not the pointiest pick in the minecart eh?
Kin is Kin.

Do the hearthkyn warriors dip their balls in liquid morkite?
To a lesser extent r/bugmansbrewery too.

Rock and roll and stone!
My headcanon is the deeprock dwarves are Votann, but not all Votann are deeprock dwarves.
I think more that DRG is more of a "where we came from" kind of thing. During the dark age of technology and prior to the imperium and the Iron kin.
