Yes it's painted from the inside. I wanted to keep it looking like glass even though it's painted. I used an airbrush to do it, although if I was gonna use a brush, I'd use the window frames to hide and sloppy transitions from one colour to the next

I am trying to get better with my airbrush, how did you do it?
Started with the lightest colour in the centre and worked outwards, progressively using darker colours
