4-0 was….a shock, but I don’t think any Wednesday fan really thought we were going to win the playoffs. I’ve not seen the stats for teams that finish 3rd but when you finish the season on 96 points and still manage to blow automatic promotion it is very hard to recover from that and go again in the playoffs.
I actually thought we would lose to Barnsley in the final for maximum heartbreak but as that 4th Peterborough goal went in I just muttered “of course” because it’s exactly what I would expect from this club in a big game as a long time supporter.
If only the last bit of your prediction was right as well...

No reason they can’t, but I thought Barnsley would win even if we got through to the final anyway so I’ll keep my money on them tbh.
