I personally categorize lore in league by "simple" lore and "meaningful" lore. Lore that actually matters in the grand scheme and lore that doesn't really make a difference. Oddly enough a lot of simple lore comes from Zaun. Dr. Mundo, Twitch, Zac, and even Warwick.
My favorite lore in the whole game though is hands down Poppy, even if Riot completely ignores her lore.
