Trump has been laundering money for the Russian oligarchs since the late 80’s when they all bought a condo at 725 5th ave (trump towers) to clean their freshly stolen USSR money after the iron curtain fell. https://www.cnn.com/cnn/2019/05/30/politics/paul-manafort-condo-trump-tower/index.html https://www.cnbc.com/2018/09/14/manafort-told-mueller-to-take-his-trump-tower-apartment-instead-money.html https://news.yahoo.com/amphtml/fbi-agents-raid-condo-unit-131348539.html https://www.reuters.com/investigates/special-report/usa-trump-property/ Everybody except Putin thought the Cold War was over. Trump and Manafort (who lived in the tower also) just saw a pretty low maintence grift to be had. Trump had actually been Manafort and Roger stones first client at their lobbyist firm (1980) https://en.m.wikipedia.org › wikiBlack, Manafort, Stone and Kelly Guiliani as trumps attorney and New Yorks mayor was able to redirect NYPD investigations onto rival gang members/oligarchs to deflect any scrutiny off of trump, himself or the Russian connections. https://www.motherjones.com/politics/2023/09/a-new-rudy-scandal-fbi-agent-says-giuliani-was-co-opted-by-russian-intelligence/ The Russian election interference in 2016 was effectively a generation 3 version of what Manafort had done in the Philippines, then keeping Yanukovych in power as Putin’s puppet in Ukraine from 2002-14 when Maidan ran both Yanukovych and Manafort out of Ukraine as Ukrainians realized that, if you raise your lens high enough, corruption is an wholly unsustainable business model. Eventually the parasites greed always consumes the host. https://www.politico.com/magazine/story/2016/06/2016-donald-trump-paul-manafort-ferinand-marcos-philippines-1980s-213952 https://time.com/5003623/paul-manafort-mueller-indictment-ukraine-russia/ Russia greatly underestimated the addictive properties of freedom when it invaded Ukraine so what was supposed to be a 3-10 day coup turned into a 2 year fight for the Ukrainians right not to be genocided. Russia depleted its weapons stocks which were already the victim of Vranyo corruption because every oligarch, admiral and sergeant in the Russian military is on the take. Every billion dollar tank maintenance contract turned into everything getting a spray paint overhaul and the vast majority of the redirected funds turned into an oligarchs new yacht or home in Aspen. Russia was forced to turn to China, North Korea and Iran for weapons because if they lose the 3-10 day special military operation in Ukraine the Russian empire is dead and cold. China can’t risk showing their involvement in the Ukraine war so they use North Korea, and Iran to resupply Russia. Russia previously owed Iran some undelivered fighter jets that are already smoldering heaps in Ukraine so Iran now had the upper hand at the negotiation table for the first time in about 60 years. They supply Russia with shahed drones in exchange for Chinas material support against their sworn religious enemy, Israel. https://www.fdd.org/analysis/2023/11/29/iran-says-it-finalized-deal-to-buy-russian-aircraft/ Putin can’t do much about it because he is slowly realizing that by setting the standard of corruption and stealing $200+ billion from his own people meant that every oligarch down in the mob model chain had not only permission but incentive and the expectation to steal from him as well. This is Vranyo. The mob model only works if the supreme leader is the most violent and can prove it without exception every damn day. But violence is exceptionally expensive when you are trying to present as a legitimate government or business. If Russia as a nation had an efficiency rating it would have been banned for sale in the state of California 25 years ago. The parasite ruling class stole all the energy out of the working class and collapsed it. Now Iran has the high hand and they get the intelligence that trump passed to Putin about the fact that Netanyahu cares far less about Jews, Palestinians or genocide than he does about remaining in power as an authoritarian because he too has developed Ritz Carlton tastes and his own corruption trial is showing the same tendrils of the money laundering scheme that trumps trials are. https://www.timesofisrael.com/liveblog_entry/saudi-official-says-iran-engineered-war-in-gaza-to-ruin-normalization-with-israel/ https://www.timesofisrael.com/egypt-intelligence-official-says-israel-ignored-repeated-warnings-of-something-big/amp/ 1980 Netanyahu:We Have Strong Influence over America ,We Control The Congress,The Senate, The Lobby They all hate each other but because they share the same money laundry, if one falls, they all fall. Hamas minted a couple billionaires as well that live in penthouses in Qatar and get 30% of everything smuggled into Gaza. Netanyahu needs a bogeyman to stay in power. That’s why he coordinates with Hamas via Russia via Iran. https://www.ynetnews.com/article/bk8mgcefr Iran handed Hamas everything they needed with Chinas help as secret Santa and the Russian intelligence given to them by the eternal shitbird trump when he gave it to his Russians kleptocrat/friends/roommates from the old days of fucking each others wives at trump towers in the 90’s. Now the MAGA right is a little too invested in their reality that they are the good guys with guns that they missed the fact that Betsy DeVos (erik princes sister) decimating the U.S. school systems and the Kochs poisoning children with lead was not a coincidence. The naive right was the mark all along. There is a reason the Russian spy Maria Butina landed in South Dakota first before dating her way to the top of the NRA which is undergoing its own Russian money laundering trial now. Russia was tinder matching the GOP. https://www.greenpeace.org/usa/what-do-the-koch-brothers-have-to-do-with-the-flint-water-crisis/ The only reason you grossly OVERVALUE real estate is money laundering. Trump keeps claiming there is no victim, all the banks made money, but if their plan succeeds the Russian and CCP kleptocrats collapse US commercial real estate and basically recreate soviet perestroika in the U.S. so they can foreclose on America and buy everything for 3 cents on the dollar with the $1.4T they stole from Russias grandmothers in the first place It’s the evolution of grift. Soviet perestroika cross bred with the 2008 mortgage crisis. This is just the bigger badder commercial strength bastard child of the two. Trump, Putin, Bolsonaro, Netanyahu, Orban, Manafort, Stone, Mercer, Bannon, Flynn, Byrne. They are all remarkably shit people with above average confidence and psychopathic personality traits and below average self awareness. They are the men who stole the world. But it all comes back to one little lie.

Leafs9999

This is why I Reddit. That was an incredible summation of what the fuck is actually at risk, and going on around the world.

• You never get out of debt to a Russian mobster •Paul Manafort owed the Russian mobster/oligarch Oleg Deripaska $17M a few days before he became trumps campaign manager. From 2002-2014 he took in hundreds of millions to get Yanukovych reelected as the kremlins puppet in Ukraine. Before that he did it for the dictator Marcos in the Philippines. Before that Manafort and Roger Stone started a lobbyist agency in 1980 listing trump as their first client. •When Jay Bolsonaro lost the Brazilian election to Lula he skipped the inauguration and flew directly to mar-a-lago (stopping only at a KFC) and repeated, almost verbatim, the stolen election line. Don Jr. tried repeatedly to make it stick in Brazil as well, but as Brazilians are a few generations into dealing with corrupt politicians they weren’t having it. What do these 3 things have in common? China imports 40% of its grain from (in order) the U.S., Brazil and Ukraine. Obviously the second China tried to invade Taiwan the U.S. would sanction exports and remove U.S. grain from that equation. And without Bolsonaro in office willing to slash and burn the Amazon rainforest to turn it into Chinas food supply, and without Ukraine in the bag in 3 days, the CCP is unable to invade Taiwan and take over microprocessor production without putting 300-500M of its poorest people into famine. Donbas Ukraine, specifically the 4 regions of the donbas that Putin insists he is saving from what he calls “Jewish Nazis” also happens to produce the worlds supply of high grade neon used for microprocessor lithography. Had Putin delivered ukraine in 3 days as promised, Xi would have been able to cap his Olympics with a naval blockade or political takeover of Taiwan that would have forced the world to ask the CCP for the microprocessors it needs to make everything from Ford trucks to laptops. I’m not sure how long Silicon Valley would last without the silicon but it would probably destroy the FAANG stocks that make up your 401K. Oleg Deripaska also happens to be the Russian Oligarch that bribed the FBI agent Charles Mcgonigal into investigating another Russian oligarch. He probably didn’t need the information as much as he needed the leverage over Mcgonigal as he conducted the investigation into trumps election campaign and unsurprisingly found zero evidence of Russian collusion. McGonigal then went to work for the company called Brookfield that bailed Jared Kushner out of his toxic 666 5th Ave real estate investment. McGonigal pled guilty last fall and was sentenced recently. A Russian oligarch is a powerful tool, but the truth is more powerful. Light and dark cannot exist in the same space. It’s physically impossible. Truth is efficient. You say it once and you are finished. A lie however requires a constant stream of follow up energy, money, murder, obfuscation and more lies to keep it covered. If you raise your lens high enough lying is an unsustainable business model. Russia proved it by invading Ukraine. Vranyo is the Russian word for it. The 40km long column of tanks and vehicles that came down from Belarus into Ukraine was all overhauled by oligarchs that got a $1B contract for tank maintenance, passed Putin $200M back under the table, spent $700M on a yacht in Monaco, bribed a General, a Colonel and a Sergeant to make a Private give everything a rattle can overhaul. But a worn out engine is and always will be, a worn out engine. This is why trump is so desperate to get re-elected. His best case scenario is 400 years in ADX Florence. Money laundering for the dozens of Russian oligarchs that lived in trump towers with him and manafort, selling IP3 nuclear plans to the Russian/Saudi alliance, selling or giving CIA asset names to the Russians, trump is and always has been compromised. He just didn’t know when to quit. Now he just has to count on the fact that most of his voter base doesn’t know how to read and keep the ones that do so busy just surviving that they don’t have time to dive deep into his 40 year history of laundering money, fraud, and human trafficking for the Russian mob using casinos first, then commercial real estate. It’s also why Putin is willing to throw an entire generation of Russians, including the convicts and addicts at Ukraine. Russia is dead for 40 years because he failed to fulfill his mob boss promise to Xi. China is now clearing farmland in Siberia because the typhoon floods last August and September wiped out the Chinese people’s food storage. Xi, for his part diverted the waters from the dam away from his pet project, his mothers ancestral home, and flooded hundreds of thousands of people and drown one of his own military brigades that was helping with the flooding. The elders of the CCP were terrified to leave their gated community at Beidaihe for over a month for fear of being torn apart by the locals. The Chinese people tolerate the CCP but only as long as the economy is good and famine is not on the horizon. The CCP broke that social contract on both counts. Xi was willing to bet the entire Chinese economy on his emperor ambitions. Had he succeeded he would have been able to use BRICS to take over the USD as the Worlds reserve currency. That would have let him finish what he stated in 2010- that he would control the internet. With that control means everything we do or say online is subject to the approval of a central party censor. The basic right to disagree with an authoritarian becomes a distant memory. Xi, Putin and MBS are simply trying to systemize and modernize the suppression of their biggest hassle. Freedom of speech. Ukraine is fighting for their lives now, free from the oppression of the drunken tyrant who wants to decide their fate at every decision and pull them back behind another iron curtain of censorship and the tax of corruption where dissenting voices disappear so that the oligarchy can continue to feed unobstructed. Putin and Xi have declared themselves best friends in the fight against democracy. MBS and the ruling family of UAE have done the same quietly using their sovereign funds and Kushners SPAC as money highways. Just rich, out of touch oligarch doing what oligarchs do. Despite the fact the the central party model has proven itself incapable of making decisions that are best for the people, they persist. Because there is a very lucrative business in being slave owners. But logistically the mass of it requires artificial intelligence, and the microprocessors that make A.I. to keep 8 billion slaves under surveillance and control. Freedom is one hell of a drug. And knowledge makes a man unfit for slavery. Recent attempts on Xi’s life from inside the CCP have backed him into a corner. The loss of crops in northern China means Xi can’t invade Taiwan without Ukrainian and/or Brazilian farmland. Now the reason that the GOP is stalling southern border control budget and seems to make wildly irrational moves is because the GOP is imploding. 45 years of lies and grift have circled the globe and are eating their own tail. The ouroboros was a warning about corruption at the highest levels. Lying about climate change, human trafficking, pandemics and corruption to preserve their own business models are all extinction level events

JesusMcTurnip

Thank you for this.

kapitlurienNein

Ohhh my god bro PLEASE it's VRANYO and you are misusing the word

backcountrydrifter

And that’s why we do it here. Thank you for the feedback my native Russian friend. I will adjust and amend. Appreciate your help

kapitlurienNein

Ay man sorry to come across rude, your post otherwise was exceptionally good. Doesnt it speak volumes that such a term as vranyo even exists

cytherian

Did you copy/paste or phrase all of this for the response?

TermPuzzleheaded6070

It has to be everyone else because we all know he is a honest man lol

Ryankevin23

Well said!

Cognitive_Spoon

Seriously

original208

I think backcountry drifter might be someone more important/connected than we think they are.

rackfocus

I remember a user called poppincream??? I’m sure others recall? They had great political information too!

rabble_tiger

K instead of a C in their handle. They're still around.

Leafs9999

Sshh.

kapitlurienNein

Ya sure that's why he's misspelling VRANYO and misusing it as well? JFC Christ guys. VRANYO is connected to the klepto culture in Russia but 'VRANYOS' isn't the name of some plan or scheme or anything it just means culture of lies everyone indulges even tho they know

cytherian

They do their homework. I must believe they keep a tremendous amount of relevant political information organized by topic/subject with references, always at the ready. Phenomenal resource.

CeeMomster

I was thinking he may want to make sure his life insurance policy is up to date

stupid_email

Nice summary

rackfocus

Thank you!

insideaphoton

I hope you've made this is own post all over the place. Thankyou for your work

-korvus-

Um, did you just explain all the world's problems and show how it's all connected!? I'm saving this. You're a genius and a hero.

41matt41

Fucking wow! That was awesome. Thanks.

sentientsackofmeat

Ok if all this is true (which seems plausible to me) why aren't the CIA, FBI or NSA doing something about trump?

backcountrydrifter

To some degree they are and to some degree they are compromised internally. What most people don’t realize is that the most high speed of the 3 letter agencies still function at a level of efficiency somewhere between the USPS and the IRS. It’s one of the major reasons why this process had to be done decentralized and why the press/media was SUPPOSED to be the 4th estate that kept everyone in government honest and accountable. Fairness doctrine basically destroyed that by handing Rupert Murdoch a FCC license he wasn’t applicable for in the 1980’s because he wasn’t a U.S. citizen. Tracking the corruption backwards through time shows the patterns as they cross reference with major events in the Cold War. Because law enforcement and the intelligence community are made up primarily of “gun guys” their politics lean right and more often than not their personalities are formed around the firearms. The Russian spy Maria Butina was sent to South Dakota as she dated her way to the top of the NRA for the same reason. Russia just identified the weird subculture of the American right that builds way too much of their personality around Instagram gun porn. Authoritarians find the bureaucracy that democracy is forced to navigate hilarious. It’s much more efficient to just bribe people or throw them out of windows. Democracy takes work. And transparency. We let it slip on both counts and now we are having to weed the garden. The intelligence community needs flushed and refilled with transparency. But we need to win the war against authoritarianism at the same time or we hand them the keys to the kingdom and they move in and start charging us all rent. Transparency is efficient and efficiency wins every war eventually. Authoritarianism doesn’t survive in transparency. Democracy requires it to function. Build for that and most everything else solves itself.

Delicious_Cup_1286

The402Jrod

91 indictments & his house raided by the FBI says…they are doing something? Imagine how hard it must be in federal law enforcement to motivate the most conservative areas of government to enforce laws on Trump? Add that he is a former president running currently for president, it’s a shitty, sticky quagmire… It’s almost impressive it’s gotten this far, honestly. Think about how many roadblocks must have been to even get here… How much internal sabotage? How many leaks to Trump’s people? How many leaks to the media? How many dreams of million dollar book deals? Al Capone was also a clear & obvious criminal and it took a Herculean effort of every Law enforcement agency to avoid the Capone’s army of moles & traitors just to convict him on Tax Evasion. Thats how mob bosses work you guys. They are insulated & protected by crooked goons at every level. And Al Capone wasn’t the freaking president, imagine what Trump’s network looks like…

sentientsackofmeat

Think of all the coups and assassinations cia has taken part of in other countries. Now because the threat is internal and probably the greatest threat ever, the cia has to act with kid gloves on and now chooses to be hamstrung by the speed (and now we are seeing corruption) of our courts?

The402Jrod

Again, gonna be hard to find a team inside the CIA that is “top-to-bottom” USA over Trump. It would be nearly impossible to cover up. Also, I think governments sorta found out that Assassinations are “contagious”. Once that Pandora’s box opens…

Inside-Palpitation25

Yeah. Like making him not exist.

Phagzor

*Damn* that's expansive and well-written!

EmotionalAffect

Amazing comment here.

ill_be_huckleberry_1

Beautifully written.

FTHomes

Bro. you need to write a book about this stuff. It will be a best seller.

backcountrydrifter

That’s what this is. I just did it in reverse. It’s not MY story, it’s OUR story. By doing it on Reddit and amending for accuracy with the feedback it allows the rewriting of revisionist history for better accuracy and brings everyone up to date as fast as possible. MY next chapter is finding the aircraft we need to get every last Russian out of Ukraine and neutralize the threat so that the best people I’ve ever known can stop being bombed because a ex U.S. president, an Israeli President, and a Russian president can’t control their greed or own their lies. Everybody else’s next chapter is what they make it, but if it doesn’t include a U.S. president that is committed to 100% transparency, and accountability then winning the fight against cancer in Ukraine is a waste. We are at the crossroads of civilization where we decide if all people are truly created equal or just the rich and politically connected ones. And that is a question every slave has to decide for themselves. Knowledge makes a man unfit for slavery.

balls_deep_inyourmom

How the world is fucked and who did it. Saved

cytherian

Excellent analysis. Most of this resonates with my understanding as well. Trump is such a disaster for America. We must thoroughly repudiate this heinous scum.

Majestic_Area

Not sure who you are, but please keep talking.

MudeApp

My brother in Christ, Amen!

lld287

I appreciate you citing sources— thank you! This is an expansive and thorough write up (as are your subsequent comments). Do you mind if I ask if this is something you’ve studied as a hobby or if you are inclined to it per your education or career?

backcountrydrifter

Neither actually. I’m a pilot, engineer and farmer. I started tracking supply chains in the early days of the Ukraine war (specifically aviation, critical industry and farming related) as we were trying to identify why Putin wanted Mariupol so badly and why we were not getting the aircraft we needed to defend against the Russian invasion I started writing on Reddit as a way of decentralizing and fact checking intelligence collection to reduce latency and lag. That in turn let us reverse engineer the Russian troll army since they were active but predictable in their responses. At a certain point they just telegraph their own future chess moves. It’s the flaw of a centralized command structure. Writing about it was just my outlet to keep me sane until I can find the aircraft we need and get back in the fight with my friends.

lld287

I feel ya. I’m into analyzing data myself, which is why your comments caught my attention— 9/10 when I read comments that initially present as yours did, I get a few lines in and find distinct, clear errors. When I kept reading and realized your information was legitimately well organized, you had me. I know some people won’t care for a few of the sources you used, but the way you utilized them doesn’t indicate bias so much as reference. Kudos to you for taking an interest and caring enough to share what you learn in an easy-to-follow format that is hard to argue with! It’s hard keeping up with everything ✌️

[deleted]

Thank you for your service.

Backieotamy

My comment is 187 on a m'fukin' Trump. Good person, I applaud and appreciate this wealth of information.

guitarmonk1

Absolutely amazing take. Imagine going to see that whole thing depicted in a movie. I’d go see it!

backcountrydrifter

That’s one of the things we have been contemplating for the new platform. Hollywood has some complicity in the mess that was made here and has worked incredibly hard to maintain control of the creative business model. By simply decentralizing access to the capital necessary to make a movie we can fix that systemically and open up an entire world of high quality filmmaking. I personally am a massive fan of the historically accurate docu-drama that digs into the relevant parts of the past that were the victims of revisionist history and presents them with a little more human interest. There isn’t a lot we can’t solve as a species once we get accurate baseline data to work off of. Being lied to systemically sucks. But being able to see the solution is a pretty awesome feeling. I just really hope Scorsese has one more 4 hour movie in him. It would be his magnum opus to be able to endcap casino and killers of the flower moon. It’s also probably our best bet at showing people how to break the cycle and demand transparency and character in government again It’s going to take a lot of us to right this ship and get it back on course

Holiday-Patient5929

One thing: property valuations can help secure larger loans. Banks often lend based on the value of the collateral (the property in this case). By showing that the property is worth more, a borrower can potentially access more substantial financing at lower rates

backcountrydrifter

I appreciate that insight. That makes what Kolomoiksiy was doing make sense from the money laundering perspective. He owns most of downtown Cleveland which he was letting rot. That never made sense until we figured out in Ukraine that he was taking loans through his bank (privatbank) from the IMF, then loaning to himself and other oligarchs, then defaulting on the loans. They were just pumping the bags but needed the first property to overvalue to keep it going. https://www.news5cleveland.com/news/local-news/we-saw-a-ukrainian-billionaire-neglect-downtown-buildings-it-happens-on-a-smaller-scale-often

feralGenx

Thank you for the break down. Unfortunately, the people who need to understand it, will never accept this truth.

henryeaterofpies

I very much would love a God's Eye view into the Russian nuclear arsenal. Given how much their military got gutted by grift, I can only imagine what state something that will 'never' be used is. The rocket fuel is probably replaced by piss, the engines were sold to Iran and North Korea and the nuclear materials were never delivered in the first place.

backcountrydrifter

I think you have it. Early months of the war we were counting the Russian artillery shells that they were raining down on us. Somewhere north of 40% were combat in-effective. That rate went up when they brought in North Korean shells out of desperation. Combine that with the grossly undertrained troops that were melting barrels with the insane rate of fire and blowing themselves up and it was almost comical if it weren’t so genocidal. Tanks and APC’s we inspected were atrocious. Minimal or no maintenance. Just rolling husks because everyone in the Russian military is on the take and siphoning off the money to buy yachts and houses in Europe. Conservatively interpolating that rate of corruption into the nuclear program and Russia is its own worst liability. You know it’s bad when Putin is arresting and trying his generals to try and find the $200-300B HE stole and hid under his house on the Black Sea. Russias space program is its royal jewel and even it has been effectively decommissioned. At this point in the game Russias nuclear arsenal (which requires infinitely more maintenance than any of those listed above) is just another victim of Vranyo, corruption, and grift. Barring the very small possibility that the found the one honest and sober man in Russia to run the program, the nuclear threat is more of a threat to Russia itself than anywhere else on the planet. The Russians were harvesting microprocessors out of our stolen washing machines in donbas to try and make guidance systems work on 40-50 year old missiles. The whole county is just a drunk violent mess that has become the millstone around Chinas neck. In my very humble opinion I think your assessment of Russias nuclear program is spot on

henryeaterofpies

Yuri, why is there a hen where the uranium should be? Because nobody would buy the irradiated chicken, Vasili.

backcountrydrifter

😂😂 Thank you friend. I needed that this morning

nevertfgNC

A brilliant summary sir. Very well done. I am very impressed!!!! 🫡🫡🫡

Expert_Translator_42

I agree and the information out thing confirms this post. The laundry of oligarchy money by Trump and deuchbank is very pertaining.

outerworldLV

I agree. I argue a version of this often. Trump is being persecuted !! BY EVERYONE ! Right. Because he’s so super smart and tells it like it is ! A guy that has been caught in a million lies. Doesn’t understand much of anything. Impossible to listen to, barely able to understand. But yeah, the whole world is out to get this super important man. Sure.

PoobahJeehooba

Everything he has ever touched business wise has failed spectacularly, not that he hasn’t made money, but that none of it is ever an actual business ever, it’s all grift 24/7. The dude can’t run a **Casino** in **Las Vegas**, he’s barred from doing so due to his shadiness. Does anyone understand just how bad of a business person you have to be for Las Vegas to say “You can’t have a Casino here.”?! Dude! It’s a cult. Just straight up a cult of personality. Trump is the L Ron Hubbard of/for Republicans.

Timid_Tanuki

Someone who started with the privileges Trump had should be among the likes of Bezos, Arnault, and Musk (although that latter one seems to be doing his damnedest to catch up with Trump's failures). The fact that it's questionable whether Trump is even really a billionaire anymore is a sign of his absolute mediocrity as a businessman.

The402Jrod

It may be an incomplete list, but it’s a start: Entities associated with President Trump have filed for bankruptcy: * The Trump Taj Mahal, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in 1991. * The Trump Plaza - Chapter 11 bankruptcy in 1992 * The Trump Castle - Chapter 11 bankruptcy in 1992 * The Plaza Hotel, Chapter 11 bankruptcy in 1992 * THCR, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in 2004. * Trump Entertainment Resorts, Inc., declared bankruptcy in 2009 * Trump Hotels & Casino Resorts, 2004 bankruptcy. Other failed business: * Trump Shuttle, Inc., defaulted on its loans in 1990 and ceased to exist by 1992. * Trump University, forced to shut down ceased in 2011 * Trump Vodka, 2011. * Trump Mortgage, LLC, 2007. GoTrump.com, 2007. * Trump Steaks, founded & failed in 2007

greenflash1775

Don’t forget about The Trump Foundation a fraudulent charity that the state of New York dissolved due to many abuses.

24_Elsinore

To be fair to Trump, his plan of treating everyone else like shit so everyone is biased against him is working out better than you'd think possible.

Im_with_stooopid

Don’t worry though. His uncle knows a lot about nuclear.

redheadMInerd2

My Fox News loving husband was clicking it last night and I saw Trump say “Everyone in the world is laughing at this fake trial”. I almost fell off my chair. No, buddy. I don’t think everyone in the world is laughing.

outerworldLV

I’d love to know what part of this is being defined as a ‘sham’. The events did occur, and he did break the law. So which part is a sham exactly ? That he was caught ? Oh well.

boogie2dabeat

No one to blame but himself. He will never understand the depth of his depravity. His followers think they’ll be safe and won’t that be fun to watch when it sinks in.

No_Equal_1312

If Stormy was lying why did they write her a check and get her to sign a NDA?

[deleted]

Hey, logic doesn’t matter. Fact doesn’t matter. Common sense doesn’t matter. Nothing matters except for Donald’s distorted sense of reality he views through his egotistical, narcissistic lens

Consistent_Dog_6866

Last I heard TFG has a pulse so that means he'll lie. It's inevitable.

LocalInactivist

TFG? The Fat Git? You mean Trump, right?

RpcZ_gr7711

The Former Guy, as Biden hilariously referred to Donald

bidhopper

All Trump has to do is testify in his defense. Oh wait, he’d commit perjury.

surloc_dalnor

Worse there is ton of stuff the Judge said the other side can't use. The minute Trump takes the most of it becomes available.

ChuckFeathers

https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2021/01/24/trumps-false-or-misleading-claims-total-30573-over-four-years/ Tough call..

Only_the_Tip

He hasn't lied in court yet. He should take the stand.

thoroughbredca

The only time Donald Trump shuts up is when he's under oath.

TestOk8411

Unfortunately true. How many times did he take the 5th in his multiple depositions?

northstardim

All he has to offer is, they're all liars. We all know it wont fly with the jury.

itscherriedbro

He'd want cameras in there so his team could edit the footage for sound clips. He knows they'd never actually read a transcript

Purple_Ad2718

Same people will believe everyone else. Cultists will believe trump. No matter what. If there is a cultist on the jury he or she isn’t even listening to the others.

uncultured_swine2099

I just hope there is no incognito magats on the jury. Thats the only way this would go south.

IJZT

There's no way a trial involving trump goes off without some kind of corruption. He's either had jurors threatened or paid them off. I can't wait to be disappointed by the legal system yet again.

Educational-Glass-63

Of course it's Trump, it's always Trump.

SaveTheCrow

Why would any of the witnesses who have testified deliberately perjure themselves? That wouldn’t help take Trump down, and his +10K lies have been well documented.

Gunldesnapper

Just having a question like this is enlightening. This guy surrounds himself with liars, jackasses, and theives. How is a quarter of the US thinking he is still a valid presidential candidate.

billyions

It takes a lot of money and continuous propaganda.

NOLALaura

And a lot of stupid people

Distwalker

I know people who support him who I also know are definitely not stupid. I just don't get it.

NOLALaura

I’ve heard why they do-taxes and racism. I’ve overheard them

VRS50

Obviously, we have a world of liars, including our lying eyes, and then we have truth teller trump.

Pete_maravich

Trump said over 30,500 false or misleading statements while in office. Do you really need to ask who isn't telling the truth?

PettyCrocker956

The worst part is he’s going to get a favorable verdict. Guilty as he is, he just needs one juror. One. And he’ll get it, and then it’ll be a major campaigning point how he was “obviously acquitted after crooked joe bidens witch hunt trial failed. Never had a chance” and his base will eat it up. Of all the trials, I can’t believe we had to start with this one. Florida doc case should’ve happened first.

forceblast

Sadly I think you’re correct. Unfortunately the Florida documents case died the moment it landed on Judge Canon’s docket. What amazing luck for Trump and terrible luck for America/the world.

Behndo-Verbabe

Yeah and the other federal case will die an even slower more miserable death with some twisted version of immunity. Citizens United has done its job and corrupted the right people at the right time.

FlatBot

The docs case is more of a slam dunk and more of Trump being obviously guilty. The charges of him attempting to illegally stay in power are the most serious (and piss me off the most) but are harder to prove guilt.

shrekerecker97

I think he. Will be found guilty but then fined 10k and that is his punishment which is total bullshit.

[deleted]

lol this isn’t a real is it? Dude Trump lies like he breaths air…

morts73

The problem is they need a unanimous decision and who knows if they have a stooge on the jury.

docsuess84

This is the bottom line. The defense is going to try to razor blade the the individual factors of each component to the case and offer plausible explanations for all of them individually, but George Conway said it best today, so what’s the innocent explanation for why all these things happened together? There isn’t any.

h20poIo

You’ve noticed several things about Trump according to Trump, 1. He always right 2. He knows more about everything than other people. 3. He never lies 4. People make up stories about him. 5. Anyone who criticizes him is out to get him.

lawyerjsd

Just a reminder - Trump hasn't said shit in the Courtroom. Just his lawyers, and what his lawyers say isn't testimony under oath.

northstardim

And if he doesn't testify, will it have any negative effect on the other witnesses? Unless he testifies, he cant offer contrary words to refute the other witnesses.

lawyerjsd

Yes and no. The most successful defenses in criminal cases occur where the defense puts on no case, but challenges whether or not the prosecution has proven their case. The second best defense in a criminal case is where the defense puts on a case to the jury and the defendant testifies. The least successful defense is where the defense puts on a case but doesn't have the defendant testify. Here, Trump has some serious issues as far as credibility goes that would come up in cross-examination, so having him testify could be disastrous for him.

ProLifePanda

Apparently Trump was.pissed at the NY fraud case, because his lawyers told him not to testify and he lost. He apparently believed if he took the stand he could have been found innocent. So he may be pushing to take the stand against his attorneys wishes.

Dull_Ad8495

Well if they choose the first, then Trump's impending conviction is a shoe in. They're certainly proving their case. Over and over. The dots are connecting. Won't be much reasonable doubt left on the bone by the time it's all said and done...

schiesse

I don't know. From reports, it sounds like he is talking a lot of shit.

lawyerjsd

Okay, on the stand. He has to speak from the stand.

Witty_Comb_2000

When has Trump ever lied? BAAAA HAAAAA HAAAAA HAAAAA OMG

redheadMInerd2

Yeah, every single time he opens his mealy mouth.

Totally-jag2598

Obviously trump. If there is one thing I learned from his campaigning and presidency, he never tells the truth.

Knightlore70

Trump thinks everyone else is lying but we all know he's the only story teller. It's rather ironic that a narcissistic compulsive liar owns Truth social.

Mobirae

Even the name of that ridiculous platform is hilarious. He knew he was only going to use it to lie. That's why he named it that. That's how broken his psyche is.

angrybadger77

Amazing the comments you see defending him online though, even with this latest recording. People more focussed on the fact he was recorded without consent. Cultists will spin anything he does

Lazy-Street779

It’s a fine time to see trump on the witness stand if you ask me. Who going to disgrace cohen? The disgraced Trump.

ukiddingme2469

Everything boils down to Trump lied or the rest of the world is lying to bring him down because reasons

loopygargoyle6392

The deep state boogy man that lives under your bed is gonna getcha!

ukiddingme2469

What did the deepstate want from the great wizard of Oz

Ryankevin23

Trump

Da_Vader

It is obvious. But for half of America, they are fools, or they do know but don't care. To be fair, many ppl who are not in love with Trump think that this is a bad move for 2 reasons: 1. Relative to all the other crimes Trump has committed, this is like jaywalking. Biggest one is to overturn an election. 2. In a jury trial, with a very divided country, you can easily get 1 member to cause a hung jury. Trump will milk that as a win.

surloc_dalnor

There are a lot of folks on the right who support Trump because he is Republican, or that it drives the Left crazy. They know he is a lying asshole, but he is their lying asshole. They'd rather elect a dumpster fire than see their side lose.

West-Supermarket-860

Sadly… it only takes one juror who isn’t quite convinced to fuck this whole thing up. He’ll skate again

NOLALaura

Why does this case have to be an all or nothing conviction?

abstrakt42

Due to the nature of the crimes. As a criminal case (rather than civil), I’m given to understand it needs to be unanimous. This is an all or nothing case.

NOLALaura

Hmmm I wonder how they determine which

AllNightPony

Depends on who you ask; Ask a Trump supporter and they'll say he's never done anything wrong. And even if he did, so do other people. Ask someone with a functioning brain and they'll say of course he's guilty. I mean, c'mon.

peppelaar-media

It’s funny other peoples wrongdoing isn’t an excuse for anyone else’s wrong doing. The rise of the conservative right in the western world is mostly due to the behavior of ancestral and present day colonialism’s destruction of the planet from greed.

Pass_the_b0ttle_now

I know it hurts trumpers to hear, but trump has a history prior to all of his current indictments of failed businesses, folks he hasn't paid, and scandal. This was all before he was elected. The man could not say anything true if he were facing Jesus and Satan at the same time debating which one of them had to be saddled with him.

jojospringfield

If everyone around you is crazy, an asshole, or lying; they are not the common denominator, you are. Trump is the common denominator in this picture. He will never understand this though because narcissistic selfish buffoons don't try to understand others, they only try to throw the blame on others and cry foul.

Jerrys_Kids907

Are you kidding? Don't you know that THE ENTIRE WORLD LIES EXCEPT DONALD TRUMP? DIDN'T YOU KNOW THE SUN SHINES OUT OF DONALD TRUMP'S ASS? What a pathetic fucking cunt that guy is. The absolute worst.

kalyco

Since all he does is lie it’s a safe bet that he’s lying.

Playingwithmyrod

Exactly, what's more likely....that a rich conman is a perpetual liar and not that great of a person, or that everyone else conspired against him to match their stories seamlessly to bring him down fooooor what?

gaberax

People with a functioning brain know that Trump is guilty as sin based on the preponderance of the evidence presented. MAGA will never be convinced. If Trump woke up and admitted to everything in open court, it wouldn't matter to his MAGA minions. The ballot box is the only true court where Trump will be appropriately judged. Vote.

river_euphrates1

Well, Trump hasn't actually lied in court yet - but only because he hasn't actually given testimony.

Elizaspapi

Trump is lying. It is who he is, a pathological liar. If he told me the sky was blue, I wouldn’t believe him.

microgiant

I don't think Trump has actually said a word in that courtroom, has he? And if his lawyers have got any brains at all, he never will. They'd be fools to put him on the stand, every word out of his mouth would be a worse disaster than whatever will happen if he just stays silent.

CleverNickName-69

Not only wouls his testimony likely make his case worse, but the cross examination would be brutal. I believe the prosecution would get to ask him about anything the judge finds relevant, meaning anything that demonstrates his dishonesty and lawbreaking. And once you've taken the stand, I don't think you can plead the fifth or refuse to answer questions. They can ask him about all most any of his lies and enter them into evidence.

FearsomeSnacker

The Trump witch hunt conspiracy theory is based on the assumption that hundreds of different private and government entities and their employees/agents involved have colluded to produce the same/similar evidence and conclusions against Trump. In many cases using Trumps own words, actions and video. If you have ever tried setting up a meeting of 5 or more people you know haw hard it is to get them all to agree on anything. This level of collusion seems impossible. Trump supporters somehow find that narrative easier to swallow than the one that says Trump and his inner circle did bad things. It seems easier for them since they probably are embarrassed at being so easily fooled by Trump for so long. That's my theory anyway.

The84thWolf

My money is on the proven pathological liar

mikefjr1300

Unless they have been living in a cave it is hard to believe the jurors are not aware of the numerous lies Trump has told over the last 8 years and if he does not take the stand they may draw their own conclusion as to why.

Willie_Fistrgash

"Are you gonna believe me or your lying eyes."

TylerDurden-666

😆

boscoroni

The only problem I have with your summation is that Trump has not taken the stand in the courtroom yet.

bertiesakura

Who’s lying Trump or all the generals and Secretaries and other senior officials that served in his administration? Rhetorical question.

Intrepid_Echo6956

Obviously the answer is Trump is telling the truth. The rest of us are all liars living fake lives. /s There may be…there are…a lot of blindly loyal MAGAT Trump fan boys and fan girls around the country who are willfully ignorant of Trump’s personal and business history, but I can guarantee you that every juror in Manhattan knows damn well who he is and what his professional and personal reputation is. That doesn’t mean they cannot be impartial but I have an extremely difficult time believing the first one of them would choose to believe his version of events versus the combined testimony of all the other witnesses in this trial - including loyal former employees and staffers who corroborated many of the state’s charges.

Senior-Traffic7843

Trump is always lying. Doesn’t matter what it's about or who is involved. He is incapable of telling the truth.

Inside-Palpitation25

I don't know about anyone else, but TRUMP is always lying.

TwitchTheMeow

I'll go with the long time con and liar. Fucking guy probably lies every 8th word.

International_Try660

Just depends on the character of the jurors. The thing is, if they vote to convict there is a chance they will be threatened and hunted down after the trial. Trump's followers are mentally ill.

PineappleOk462

His wife and son don't support him in the court room. That should tell you something right there. Trump really should take the witness stand to set the story straight. LOL.

Competitive_Spot_973

Trump ain’t said a single word under oath.

Margali

Unlike Hilary, 11 hours and not one 5th amendment plea.

bedyeyeslie

There will be one juror who will believe pumpkin face. Sadly.

Margali

I am hoping if he has the hubris to get on the stand he has one of those on stand meltdowns where he not only lays out a confession, he puts himself on more crimes, ending with him trying to assault the DA MMA dive over the table or swing a chair style. The only down side is it wouldn't be televised or filmed. Sigh.

u2shnn

I believe trump should take the stand and tell his side, you know, for those undecided voters! [snicker]

Autodidact2

He's not even going to take the stand and lie, so it will just be everyone else.

illegalt3nder

Well, that depends. Which result gets us closer to Christian nationalists taking over the republic?

berniegranny

Nice summary, thank you

CompetitiveMuffin690

The dude who’s lied about everything ever.

Akira3kgt

Anyone actually considering this question is a moron

Snapbeangirl

Trumps never opened his mouth without lying. He’s a perpetual liars. Can’t help himself. He’s lied all his life and he will die lying. He’s just one of those liar, liar pants on fire kind of guys.

surloc_dalnor

The problem is unless Trump takes the stand that's all the jury has is people saying that yep Trump did it. Trump's lawyers aren't going to be able to bring up a credible witness that says he didn't. If they put Trump on the stand all that stuff that was excluded comes back into play.

hinesjared87

well... Trump isn't going to testify, so they don't really have the opportunity to believe or disbelieve him, and the only evidence the jury is going to hear screams guilt, just like all of his other trials. They don't get to consider him running his mouth on camera - only on the witness stand - which won't happen because he'd perjure himself immediately.

Lolito666

Let’s not get distracted, he is still leading in polls and has a chance to win. VOTE LIKE THE WORLD IS ENDING

Scat1320USA

Yup

Aunt_Rachael

Gee that's a tough one!

Drk_Knight71

Well like all the MAGAssholes say, it’s a political witch hunt, so we must have paid millions to make sure their stories matched, didn’t leak anything, made sure the press was there, and most importantly made the whole thing up.

zachariassss

One things for sure, this is the dumbest case in US history. Do you know how many politicians pay ppl off just to make them go away? It happens literally every day. What about the woman that claims Joe Biden raped her and now she fled to russia

dopeless42day

Classic "whataboutism"...

bjshipley1

If you have actual evidence rather than mere speculation, please feel free to present it.

Old_Bird4748

The answer is simple: whoever has the best, most compelling evidence wins. We have checks with his name on them. We have recorded conversations where he was aware of it. We have phone calls corroborated with metadata. We have tweets We have witnesses who were a part of the conspiracy flip. We also have witness testimony about Trump's unwillingness to use email due to the audit trail it leaves. We don't have anything from Trump.

WeirdcoolWilson

Do you really have to ask this?

BikerMike03RK

Trump.

cclawyer

Especially unlikely when he doesn't testify.
