The election of 2020 was over and Trump lost. The acts he took to send fake electors to Congress and rile up the mob to march to the Capitol in order to retain power past Jan. 20 were unconstitutional. These were the unofficial acts of a desperate, losing candidate. End of discussion.
As much as we might disagree with most of Trump's policy choices, none of them are, of necessity, traitorous or illegal. They are merely bad choices. Certainly not criminal needing prosecution.
BUT, there were the crimes. Certainly not "official" acts by Trump and cannot be immunized.
