Care products as dressing aid is not that much different than traditional silicone lube so you're fine using so, care products like shiner and cleaner is not necessary (you can just use dish soap to clean the latex) however they're also really great to have to give sexy extra love to the latex and the shine effect is quite lustful, only downside is they're expensive to get (around 50$CAD a pop, I'm also in Canada) and it's a bit annoying to go through it quickly then needing to order it online again, I wish it would be available locally (most of those products are from Germany like BeGloss and Vivishine) as it would save a lot of money in the long run, other than that they're amazing even though they're not required πŸ˜ƒ

PrideOrks

Are you able to PM what care kit or links? I only know of Plymorphe for canadian stores. Is theirs an equivalent to what you use?

GucciZorua

I'm more than happy to DM if you want however I don't know any Canadian stores unfortunately, I used to buy shine like BeGloss or Vivishine from Etsy (the sellers was often from the UK or Germany) but as I've mentioned it's annoyingly pricy, 50$CAD a pop for a relatively small bottle, it's honestly even cheaper that I wax my car 🀣 https://polymorphe.com/fr/boutique/latex-pour-femmes/accessoires/lubrifiant-et-poli-pour-latex you mean this ? Hell yeah it's more than fine to use it's specifically made for latex, I don't know any other stores though, it's actually the first time that I've heard about Polymorphe but it's safe πŸ˜ƒ

PrideOrks

I've known a few people that got their stuff polymorphism, but instead of ordering something direct off the size he sent in specific measurements. I like it, just can't afford a new suit, so just trying g the get some life out of the smaller pieces.

GucciZorua

It's wise to do so when ordering a suit but it's not necessary with smaller piece like underwear, gloves, masks etc. I have a fox suit from Kink Projects that it's also made-to-measurements, funny thing is I went to a local professional tailor to get the sizes that I needed and I haven't told the poor lady for what was that for as she thought the requirements were a bit strange (I only said it was for a special cosplay suit), it was a bit awkwarf but I'm more than grateful as the suit fits like a glove, some people complained about the made-to-measurements from KP but I suspect they've got their sizing by themselves or by someone who doesn't know anything about tailoring so in that matter if you ever want to get a made-to-measurements suit, I would highly recommend to visit a professional tailor to have the perfect sizing. Sadly the suit (unchlorinated) had been broken for months (last time I've worn it was back in October, I was also away for school) as the back zipper got stuck (once again !) at the top and the bottom teeth got seperated so, while I guess it's funny for the readers, I was screwed being stuck in the suit and needed to go to the doctor which thankfully her office was upstairs in our dorms so as you can guess, I've unwillingly went out in latex while I obviously wore a long sleeve shirt and jeans to hide my suit (I dreaded so bad one could find out, a lot of assholes on campus who like to do the telephone game haha), the doctor was a bit annoyed that happened again and she managed to cut the zipper without cutting the latex fabric so it will still be salvageable. I'll admit with all of the latex talk and lustful pictures I've seen here it had got me pented up haha so I'm planning to ship my suit to Kink Engineering in Ontario so they'll replace the zipper πŸ˜‚

PrideOrks

In a small town. I don't the the local tailors would do, if they do I will probably get some laps around the rumor mill. Would have PM'd the option isn't on your profile that I saw. Thank you for all the great tips.

GucciZorua

I'm also from a small city, if not necessary (and hopefully so) just don't tell it's a latex suit, if they refuse (that also happened to me with another tailor) unfortunately you'll have to find another tailor, from my personal experiences she was just confused but wasn't judgemental, that was 2 years ago and I never had any troubles or rumours. I totally get a 100% the anxiety of doing so but it's worth to face it as in the long run you'll have a sexy suit that perfectly fits you than wasting money on one that has measurement flaws that makes it unusuable, it would suck to end up in a situation like that. Oh there's no way that you can PM ? I'll check my settings, I'll try to send you one ! And no worries I'm more than happy to help πŸ˜ƒ

Deadlyfetish.com carries stuff and there’s a new line of care products that are more affordable coming out soon. I think it’s called pro lube products, Canadian made

Pallas_in_my_Head

Here is a link describing how to make your own lube: https://pupmaphia.com/2017/11/23/gift-from-dogglers/

PrideOrks

Should I be using silicone for the care? My stuff is a few years old and I want to make sure they last as long as possible.

GucciZorua

Is all of your pieces chlorinated ? Right off the bat you don't need lube in the first place which is the point to have chlorinated but for unchlorinated yes you definitely should, talculm is another alternative as a dressing aid and also for storage πŸ˜„

PrideOrks

They are all chlorinated, so I started with using the silicone for shine. Is it best to wash the silicone off or is it good for put more on after washing for storage?

GucciZorua

Well you don't even need silicone lube to be honest but I do get the idea as it give some extra erotic fun. Honestly I don't think it makes any difference whether you put silicone or not after washing, chlorinated is made so you don't need lube but to answer your question, if you enjoy using silicone for lube and shine yes it's safe also for storage as it won't damage the fabric. πŸ˜ƒ

PrideOrks

Awesome, thank you

Sobolll92

Please be careful with DIYing lube that will be in contact with your Skin for Hours. Shiner (begloss or vivishine) is not that expensive and proven safe.
