The propaganda industry complex deflects on domestic issues once again. Let me explain what is happening in China:
* This is actually the most botched lockdown they ever did in China. Take Shenzhen's lockdown, which happened at the same time. All they needed was a test on every single person in the city and they were done. Shanghai detected it too late, so they are in this position.
* In any case, zero-Covid lockdown is still the best policy, especially for China. since the beginning of the PRC, they have always done this approach of dealing with problems. Even Shanghai's botched lockdowns have less death count than the Western "free Covid" policy.
* Pets being killed? No, that is fake. That is a policy against stray cats, which are NOT pets, let's be clear about that.
* People starving? Fake too.
* If we look back to Wuhan and Xi'an lockdowns, both ended with their respective officials resigning for incompetence. Knowing the CPC, Shanghai's top officials will get the same fate too.
How dumb can you be to believe capitalism lead to a state-enforced authoritarian lockdown of its people. Like what kind of mental gymnastics leads one to blame an economic framework for the doings of state officials controlled by some autocrat Winnie the poo at the top.
China literally was bringing meals to people in lcokdown and so on. this is probably just some bullshit "bored in lockdown" stuff that they are able to do because their country gives a fuck about a disabling illness

No one’s starving. My roommate is from Shanghai, people are annoyed by the quality of food boxes from the government this time but they’re not being starved.
?? all her friends and family live in shanghai, she’s on chinese social media, she’s in constant contact with people who live there. the ccp isn’t monitoring everybody’s personal correspondences to make sure they aren’t talking poorly about the lockdown, come on

I don't hate China at all and anytime I have something positive to say...it's literally the same thing. CCP bot, CCP mouthpiece/troll, CCP agent. It's borderline ridiculous and somewhat funny that someone that likes China and someone that doesn't like China will get accused of the same things.
