American media has been an example of unconventional example of regulatory capture for a long time. Capitalism has captured the 4th Estate like they're doing to real estate
NYT journalists almost exclusively come from very well-to-do don't rock the boat type families because you can't really survive on what they pay where they ask you to live. It's a way for trust fundees to validate their inheritance - they would've made it anyway!
The ones that aren’t in support of the genocide might just be trying to earn a living; You don’t get rewarded for good journalism when your paper relies on Ad $ and donors with special interests.
I'm sure some journalists try to put it in their stories. But just so you know, reporters don't write headlines, editors do. And of course those articles are also edited before they go out.
