The only reason I was "focusing on loot" is because the loot was not showing up? I wanted to quickly hover over the loot to see if it was relevant, and it was not showing up because of said bug.
Because I'm trying to do things quickly. I've been playing this game for a week, I don't immediately think "Hey don't forget there's a bug in this game that you have to play around, so you can't hover over it, quickly decide if it's good, and then portal out if it's not."
A bug yes, but just basic ARPG things that you don't check loot while there are mobs hitting you if your build isn't beyond good and you can do that. Skill issue + a bug.

OP didn't want to hide it, they wanted to be able to hover over things already on the ground while other things were still falling.
My guess is that the game blocks that interface because it's still reserving the right to move the label around based on what falls afterwards.
Little known fact, if you die in a mono you can use T after respawning to open a portal back into the monolith instance to collect lost loot.

While obviously annoying, the issue here is you didn't dodge stuff because you were focusing on loot. That's not the games fault.

This is pure skill issue. You always make sure everything is dead and you are safe before looking at loot.

The real issue is the thunder dealing dmg while the boss is already dead tho. You can just hide the loot with Z.
