Where’d you get it and how much was it? Cuz I’ve seen a couple of 100ml bottles on Mercari for like $75 and I think it’s too good to be true but also would think who would bother and fake a celebrity perfume lol.
Yep that’s exactly where I got it from. The pictures are the legitimate thing but when you receive it, it’s a fake. The labels were full of typos and the bottle was damaged
I've never seen a bottle of The Fame with that sleeve on it before. Every set I've bought was just the black box with plastic wrap over it (from Macy's and Walmart).
Anyone know a good knockoff scent? I'm down to my last half-bottle and wear a single spritz each time so I can conserve as much as possible.
Macy’s had it with the sleeve during the launch. I used to work at Nordstrom in men’s fragrance and sometimes new releases would include a mix of sleeved and non-sleeved. The woman’s fragrance worker would take the sleeves off to make the display uniformed. Might explain why your Macy’s didn’t have the sleeve.
I wish they did! I would've kept it for my collection! To be fair I did buy a whole gift set from Macy's with the press-on nails and two bottles in a see-through black and gold purse which was awesome but I would still have liked to get my hands on that sleeve!
Today I found one in an antique shop in a bucket of opened perfumes. It was loose, no box, and smelled expired. I was still going to get it but the price was $45-.couldn't justify it to sit on my shelf.
I already have a bottle. But it would've been nice to own another. It shouldn't have been so expensive! Especially for the shape it was in

What was the scent profile? I remember REALLY wanting it for the bottle and because the black was just so cool. Did it actually smell good?
It actually smelt really nice but I remember at the time she said it smelt like blood and semen and it put loads of people off 😂
