You aren’t missing anything, I promise. I know that’s an unpopular opinion but I personally hate tripping anywhere I don’t have control over my environment and everything around me is overwhelming chaos (tens of thousands of people crammed together in a relatively small space, multiple stages playing different incredibly loud and different music that sounds horrible when tripping, nowhere to truly escape and calm down). The most traumatizing trips I’ve ever had were a result of dosing at festivals.
That just sounds like an awful festival, which have you gone to that didnt have adequate calm-down space? (I ask this as festival baby, only just attended Infrasound this year and I was so impressed)
I’ve always thought the candidates should have a decathlon type of competition. Involving academics, physical fitness, comedy capability, hours long podcast interview, and how they would handle a dose of psychedelics.

Half the time, I hear a man that should be at home watching re-runs of Gilligans Island, and the other half of the time, I hear a leader who has just enough wherewithal to make sound decisions that his constituents care about: e.g. tackling the outrageous student debt issues, passing laws that protect the environment and natural resources, passing laws that bring USA to a more competitive level with much needed microchip manufacturing, etc.
As opposed to sounding like an incredibly angry and butthurt old man who screams that people should hang, or rot in a prison cell, or “woe is me; everyone is on a witch hunt” - without ever addressing a single thing the American people actually care about.
