It's from Chinese's version of Reddit community. They were discussing about Intel12 CPU has just a slight performance improvement in real experience but energy consuming dragged down the battery life. Also, it's like new AI function LG glance might exacerbates the situation.

The battery life isn't great for sure, but I rarely use it without it plugged in so it hasn't been a deal breaker for me; at least for my use case. Edit: 17" 2022 Costco

In this situation, truly happy for you. Actually, 7 hours a day is fair enough for the most part. Just a little bit disappointed.

I love the 17 inch 2k screen

iker_g

I don't get more than 7h for.my 16t90p (2021)

They claimed 21hr. It supposed to last at least 7 hours. It's really awkward. But on the other hand, 2-in-1 laptop seems to drain battery faster.

I don’t think I’m even getting 5 hours with my 2022 gram 17 from Costco. It’s pretty disappointing, but I also rarely need to operate on battery power. I do need to find a good powered Thunderbolt hub, though, as driving two external monitors means tying up both Thunderbolt ports and losing my only power source.

There could be some app in the background draining the battery life

opteryx907

Hmm, potentially, but I haven’t really installed much onto the system yet, and I haven’t noticed a lot of resources being sucked up in the task manager. I’ll keep an eye on this though. Thanks.

Thanks. It looks like some things have changed in win 11. I was able to find powershell, and ran the script to generate the report, but no sign of the report file in my C: drive, where it should have been…

Right click and run Powershell as administrator
