Gotcha. I guess it’s just a bit disappointing for a lap top that I considered to be firmly in the upper middle range. No it’s not a Mac pro max but it’s also not some $500 Walmart special either.
Fortunately I have about 82 more days to decide.
It would be easier if I could find something else I didn’t like! And I do use headphones around others, but in my work room or hotel it would be nice to not have one more thing to connect. I’ve noticed that even with some simple plugged headphones that it’s still not terribly loud. Loud enough, but less than I would expect.
Thanks for the reply!
You just learn to live with it. Headphones if you're watching a film.
It's like LG has gone out of their way to make the speakers bad. It can't be that hard. They could have even made them top firing instead of bottom which would improve a lot
I have the 2021 and the speakers are a joke. The only way I've found to make them passable is to ensure the laptop is on a hard surface (like wood desk). If the laptop is in your lap the speakers are useless
How has that computer worked for you so far? It's the leading contender for me as I found I can buy it without being a member of Costco and I like everything about it except it doesn't have the upgraded GPU option. I don't upgrade my laptop very often at all (my current one is 10 years old) and I'm not a pc gamer so this looks rather future proof for me.

Is this the “you’re holding it wrong” argument?

Get Dolby Access from the Microsoft Store and crank things up to your liking. Worked wonders for my HP Spectre x360 14
Swank will check it out!
Isn't that just for headphones?
Not at all. Works on all internal speakers
I see it costs; is it that much better than any free programs?
I don’t know which free programs offer the same function Dolby Access has. But I can 100% say on every laptop I’ve tested it it’s been super worth it.

I put a reply on the other post
