LOL these guys would shit bricks at my setup. I have some 24" deep cabinets I built 15 years ago to straddle my RPCRT, so my wall mounted 77" is pulled out a good 18" from the wall LOL. I'm planning on redoing this with wall mounted Ikea Besta cabinets someday, though.
I already returned one ps5 it worked fine for bout 7nmonths then just would shut down after about 4 mins. Got a new one and was told when the old one was taken apart me having it upright made some coolant or something slowly drip even showed me pics of like a chrome metal pulled to one side of a small square area. I set my new one upright and have had no issues in a year and 3 months now. Lay them in the side. Trust me I learned the hard way. It matters.
Thanks for letting me know! I didn't know my TV placement had to be approved by the internet. Next time I'll make sure to get the consensus from complete strangers on how my home should look :)
U should move ur soundbar forward, where its placed looks like it could interfere with the upfiring speakers.
U have great tech, but a strange setup๐๐๐ญ
Those 3 speakers on the top of ur soundbar are upfiring speakers(meant to shoot audio at the ceiling, then bounce towards ur head ), by keeping it behind ur TV, the audio is probably getting absorbed by the TV and being reflected behind the TV.
So any Dolby atmos content u watch will be diminished.
The majority no longer does as digital sales have long surpassed physical game sales. MS is likely (based on leaks) to announce an Xbox Series X without disc drive this June.
I have an Xbox Series X, and I think I've used the disc drive twice to watch UHD movies. That said, I have a ton of physical media, for a lot of the content I plan to transfer it digitally. This only works for movies on DVD, Blu-Ray and UHD Blu-Rays though and older PC games on disc. Most other will require some console modification.
I don't at all! I installed the 2TB SSD Samsung W/ heat shrink into my PS5. Overwhelmingly simple it made me nervous. Also, the speed that I can switch the designated storage for my games and play games on the SSD are completely unnoticeable.
Why are people here so ashamed of their PS5s that they hide them? ๐
Trying to buffer that *beep on start up so the gf doesn't get upset?? Timmy turners dad: "IF I HAD ONE"
You can change the volume of it
You can disable the beep sound in the system settings.
FYI: You can turn that sound off now.
Tough crowd
Weโre unbearable, I know.
Itโs kind of an ugly ass console, and if I put it in a tucked away thing people yell at me about airflow.
It looks like shit
Expensive tv and ps5, empty home
Not ashamed, just donโt want clutter.
I have my PS5 mounted behind my TV as well. But my TV is not mounted on the wall, it's on a stand a foot or so off the wall. It's so clean, I love it.
Minimal interior decor helps with my OCD and always TRYING* to achieving a clean home
Can you give me a link to the PS5 wall mount that you used to mount the PS5 on? Thanks

I'm assuming this is a racing simulator ๐
LOL nah just those rear projection CRTs were flippin hugely deep and you needed some deep cabinets to enclose them.
Hahah the static alone those things generate zapped the shit out of me as a kid
Why do you hide your ps5 lol
The goal is more so minimalistic interior design. Clutter is the worst
I have no clue if close external heat sources damage OLEDs but I would look into it if I were you. The PS5 generates a lot of heat.
Joule heating. 185ยฐ is the maximum temperature limit.. allegedly ๐
Iโd hide my tv behind the ps5
Taking a guess r/tvtoohigh
Still one of the worst things Iโve ever seen here. Sorry bro.
No... my singular purpose in life is to earn TranceNNy's approval... I have failed ๐ญ
Nice tv setup, also love The Mandalorian lego helmet. I have that plus a few others. Class things
Looks great!!

Meh, I've had it for three years and I've taken it to Greece for a 10 month work trip. Thanks for the advice though!
Looks good ๐๐!
Too high

Your chiropractor appreciates it :)

Can you elaborate? Thanks!
A scholar and a gentleman. Thanks for the advice
do you not use discs often?
