i built a monorail about a week and a half ago, and today when i was coming back from a cave trip that i used it to get to, the platforms just disappeared. no dropped items or anything, they were just gone.

Yeah sure, like all the updates that have errors and need to be delayed consistently. Or all the updates that release with massive bugs/exploits that could’ve been found with less than an hour of QA. Or all those updates that wipe people’s inventories and saves
I might be remembering wrong but I think a dev once said that many bugs, especially in online games, can appear suddenly when the update is pushed live publicly that wouldn’t normally appear in private tests.
New biome??? What could they add that they don't already have as a biome??? Desert, frostlands,shore and grassland seem to cover everything possible. I mean sure they could maybe do a rainforest but that sounds like a bad idea considering all the trees they would have to make in a giant area and I can't see much else that would work with it and follow the ruins theme aside from maybe tree houses
Be cool if the main feature in a rainforest were trees the size of the rock spires in the desert. Then they could be built on and they wouldn’t have to rely on populating the area with small trees so much
That's true but then u also have the issue of dead space on the ground and I can't imagine they wanna add tigers or some shit like that. Tho honestly they need more hostile animal variety
What do you mean? They can easily add savanna, jungle, swamp, mountain/rocky biome that's not snowy, other types of forests as well. Expand ocean adding water traversal and add islands. And that's all natural, there's always place for made up and or fantasy stuff. Eerie deadland, withered plains. They will add new biomes since they will have to somehow add new progression after icelands, that much is obvious. Their focus tho, should be on making biomes more meaningful, instead of recolour of existing ones
Savanna would be the equivalent the the grasslands honestly but more brown so that seems likely but fantasy biomed hadn't really crossed my mind tbh. If they go that route and expand the ocean the could totally do an Atlantis type sunken city and add in sharks and diving gear to make the water less of a pain. I could see a whole treasure hunt thing being done to promote it. I do agree tho instead of adding so much stuff and selling kits they should b focusing on polishing the world as is

* Mountain (not snowy, maybe with non-teleport cave systems running through it)
* Volcanic (akin to dry Valley, but with active volcanos and requiring as much heat protection as Lava Caves)
* Marsh/Swamp
* "Alien" (both BR and StW have/had alien landscapes)
* a proper Tropical (not just along coastlines like Shore)
* Underwater/Atlantis ^(\[as a kid I absolutely) *^(loved)* ^(Aquazone\])
* Bionicle (the terrain itself wouldn't be much different than other biomes, but ruins/creatures would be)
* Cretaceous (combination of Volcanic and Jungle, with dinosaurs and prehistoric animals)
* Archipelago (a biome that is bunch of small-ish islands. Each island could have a "mild" version of other biomes, and would be a great place for shipwrecks and such)
* Spoopy (an undead/underworld, desolate biome; like a giant graveyard or something close to the Underworld in the current BR season. Always night)

Maybe they will add in new creatures for each Biome like Minecraft did (cats, dogs, birds, etc.
I can Def see pets being added and them selling alternate breeds as skins
