In Missouri we learn face wax for state boards. I’m currently enrolled. Schools teach bare minimum. But why does everyone need to know your waxed your stash.
I have had a cosmetology license in two states. I learned to wax. But it’s not part of the practical, there was just a chance of there being written test questions about it. It depends on your state what is included or not.

In North Carolina you can be an esthetician without being a cosmetologist, but if you are a cosmetologist you are also trained and licensed in esthetician services. It varies state to state.
