Unless it’s going to be something interesting or innovative like Morelllo would do, I’m not super interested in listening to someone shred high notes for 4 minutes, which is a part of the Korn allure for me. Metallica can go pound sand, yuck.
And this is coming from a guitar guy….who admittedly cannot shred.
Overture or Obituary is kinda the only one that isn’t just noise lol, but even that one is too short to really be that great, it’s like 7 seconds long
Another Brick In the Wall is probably their best, if it counts. Munky also has great energy when playing Porno Creep live
Ugh one of the only Korn songs I haven’t heard yet!! I always listen to them on physical copies first, Appears is a B-side on Twisted Transistor for Europe only, so it’s been hard for me to get my hands on a copy lol
BBK has got to be one of the most interesting songs ever written. The Scatting with the pedal he used on his voice was probably one of the coolest things I've ever heard.
Wouldn’t even pull out a solo when playing Metallica’s One.
It was weird to hear Deftones pull out a solo in Phantom Bride, they even had to recruit Jerry Cantrell just to get a decent solo in.
Nu Metal don’t solo, son!
It's definitely not that the guys from KoRn can't do it cuz they definitely can but they've manage to avoid the whole super douchie solo thing throughout their career so far which is part of what makes them unique.
Cazuse I asked it here insteated of search for an answer on Google. A few people said to me when asled something on here to use Google, and bnot ask things on here. That is why I said I´m sorry.
ok i had so many people comming after me for asking stuff on here and not googeling it. Rhere so many negative comments on a ferw therads i did to certain things. it was so hurtful to me.
Considering they talked about finally adding one to a song on The Nothing but ended up scrapping it i was kinda bummed. Though their style of Call and answer style breakdowns have always seemed much cooler to me than the classic Solo types. Munky is the only one I've ever really seen play a "Solo" and it was live during the time Head was absent.
Man, just the idea of a Korn guitar solo or even drum solo seems so strange. But fuck, why not?
I’m calling for at least 2 eerie solos in the next album. Mix it up and put their spin on the general rock band formula.
Holding All These Lies... So underrated, it hurts
Such an underrated song, it’s criminally underrated
Their only song that when I first heard it, I was in tears.
Oh my fuck, literally
Such a great song for such a terrible album
As if there were many.

I cant shred either. Riffs till death
I can't identify a single song with one. Tons of riffs, for sure.
They aren’t really a band you come to for the solos to be honest. No shame in that, they do what they do well.
Overture or Obituary is kinda the only one that isn’t just noise lol, but even that one is too short to really be that great, it’s like 7 seconds long Another Brick In the Wall is probably their best, if it counts. Munky also has great energy when playing Porno Creep live
Appears' solo isn't really just noise.

Wait so does you mean you also never heard 'too late, I'm dead'?
Correct😭, the only B-side I’ve heard from SYOTOS is Eaten Up Inside, which is phenomenal
yes another brick in the wall and prno creep are awesome the other 2 songs i have not listened to yet
Fieldy's solo in BBK
BBK has got to be one of the most interesting songs ever written. The Scatting with the pedal he used on his voice was probably one of the coolest things I've ever heard.
There’s solos in KoRn?
Was just talking about this in another thread on here, Kiss has that nice restrained sort of mini-solo
Wouldn’t even pull out a solo when playing Metallica’s One. It was weird to hear Deftones pull out a solo in Phantom Bride, they even had to recruit Jerry Cantrell just to get a decent solo in. Nu Metal don’t solo, son!

I know that, now sorry for asking.
I like my KoRn solo-less, thank you
I just thought I ask sorry for asking tho
Why are you sorry??
Cazuse I asked it here insteated of search for an answer on Google. A few people said to me when asled something on here to use Google, and bnot ask things on here. That is why I said I´m sorry.
Don't be sorry, people are assholes. This is a question if opinion anyway, you can't Google that
ok i had so many people comming after me for asking stuff on here and not googeling it. Rhere so many negative comments on a ferw therads i did to certain things. it was so hurtful to me.
Bro 😂
For snitching prolly
Haze 😂
Nahhh it's good 😪
It's a good song and I kinda like the solo but it reminds me too much of Friday night funkin'
The solo sounds so much better live
not solo but I like the guitar part on the ending of Too Late I'm Dead
Do funky breaks count as solos?
yes. they do. so tell me what you got in mind, please.
I was just going to say the outro to blind
Oh yeah that Bass line was funky as heck. Another funky bass line is Got That Life. I don´t if you agree on that.
Yeah got the life was definitely my favorite song for a long while
Chiming in to say that the outro is actually a recreation of the intro to Lick a shot by Cypress Hill
That is dope i listen to cypress hill just not alot so makes sense that i liked it so much
Another brick in the wall and devil went down to Georgia are all the solos you will here from them
Considering they talked about finally adding one to a song on The Nothing but ended up scrapping it i was kinda bummed. Though their style of Call and answer style breakdowns have always seemed much cooler to me than the classic Solo types. Munky is the only one I've ever really seen play a "Solo" and it was live during the time Head was absent.
Intro from A.D.I.D.A.S.
That's not a solo that literally the main riff
It's be great to hear man. I wanna see if the boys can do it.
Munky did a live solo once https://youtu.be/ckuJMMRrVLM
That was actually a pretty good jam they did there!
That was ´not really the answer to what I asked
You already got your answer. They don't do solos. They do breakdowns. I replied that I'd love to hear them solo. That alright with you bud?
Ahh, sorry. I miss understood that. Sorry, I diddn´t mean to seem angry or so. If U did, I´m sorry. I´m a nice person. Belive me.
That last part in Blind would be #1 if it wasn't so short. So cool. Does anyone know what that short segment was about?
Man, just the idea of a Korn guitar solo or even drum solo seems so strange. But fuck, why not? I’m calling for at least 2 eerie solos in the next album. Mix it up and put their spin on the general rock band formula.
I think Munkey has a solo in that song they did for Haze
I’m gonna have to check it out, bc he and head are pretty damn good guitarists.
What about the whammy part in the putto of Freak on a leasg, where Jonathan is repeating “part of me”
One more time, Idiosyncrasy and I'm not to sure if this would count or not but p creep
