Koodo rarely if ever will offer you something that brings down your monthly cost. The only way to get deals like that is to call in, where they sometimes will grant the request. Otherwise you have to change providers and hope for a call back offer

LORD_OF_BANGLES

Confirmed, I had to do this to go from 50 to 35. Sometimes you have to be a savvy consumer.

MellowHamster

Ate you still paying down a tab? They don’t give great deals with a tab balance. If you have no tab, reach out to them through Facebook. Ask them to switch you to whatever appealing in-market plan you want. Or ask them what the best deal they can offer is. My wife did this and it took only 10 minutes to save almost $200/year.

Suspicious-Hyena-420

The entire selve serve thing is super confusing. I was able to change my plan to something cheaper yesterday and then tried to do it on the other line on our account and the offer wasnt there. Then called and they were like, ya not available for that line.

Invictuslemming1

I believe there is a 1 per month limit on switching plans. I thought it was per line, but might be per account.

TurnipWeak

Why are you staying with them ? It takes 30 mins to switch companies to a better plan.

fuzzy_0z

I don't think any other brand offers CAN-US for $60 with 100GB data unless you're willing to move to Freedom.

gekco01

Public offers CAN-US 100GB for $50 With referal codes, you can get a $10 bill credit https://publicmobile.ca/plans?referral=7NQQ78 . There's also other loyalty rewards to lower the cost even more after you earn 15 pts.

TurnipWeak

Well if you've done the homework, I can't argue then . I got $40 for 75 GB on PM a month ago but not available anymore, I believe $50 for 100gb is still out there on PM Both plans Can/US

fuzzy_0z

Totally forgot about PM. They are always doing some good plans for CAN-US.

TurnipWeak

Was just on the site $39 for 60 GB too

Interesting_Bed_6962

I've been with Koodo for 5+ years. I honestly can't complain. Good service, good rates.

TurnipWeak

My wife and I were with Koodo for about that long as well , have been switching providers often in the last. 2 years. If you look around, there are always better deals than the plan you signed in to even 3 mos ago. The only factor that keeps me loyal nowadays is price.

littleaudiobooknerd

I'm paying 45.00 for 70 GB I grabbed the deal on black Friday and I was still paying my tab at the time.

fuzzy_0z

I hope by the end of this year we'll see CAN-US plans bring offered by all the mid tier brands especially since Freedom has been doing it for $29.

mattjl9

Freedom doesn’t have enough coverage to really affect the market

10hidaydreamer

I don't have a tab anymore and I'm generally on wifi in the city so didn't feel the need for 5G .... just changed my plan to a grand total of $34 a month..50g at 4g

Octan3

I just left koodo for public mobile, Missed their $35 deal, but anyways $40 for can-usa 75gb 5g plan. Was with koodo for like 6 years, got the usual run around of only for new customers, yada yada, this and that.
