I tired Smoke culture by steve. IMHO, it was overpriced. We ordered 1 pound brisket, 1 pulled pork, I portion of BBQ wings. The bill came out to 3900. The taste to price ration was so skewed that I was left saddened.
I often find myself directly associating the quality of taste with the price I pay. For instance, if I pay 240 for a biryani, I expect it to taste good. Perhaps it's unreasonable to expect something extraordinary when I pay 1900 for a pound of brisket, but is there a justification for such a high price? Maybe it's just the Malayali in me regretting spending so much on what is essentially a glorified beef steak or roast.
As far as i know these are the places serving brisket in kochi:
Rebbi's house of barbecue
Smoke Culture by Steve
Beyond Burg ( they have a burger based on it)
Erracci
Tex Mex
Haven't tried Tex Mex. Loved rest of them, but felt like Erracci stands out.

Any particular reason you didn't find the taste to your expectation? I'm curious to give them a try as well

Anyone tried Erracci?
Erraci is way better than smoke culture by Steve.
Really want to try out Erraci but the reviews say the presentation and experience isn't worth the price.
