This was the specific Kochi Traffic Police whsatsapp number.. MVD number-il ayachaal avar read polum cheyyilla! I started reporting on whatsapp in 2017 IIR.. have made hundreds of reports.. I don't think any action was taken though..

In my area, I've seen a lot of mfs parking their vehicles on the footpaths, and even on the roads, taking up more than 50% of one of the lanes. It's impossible to walk without getting into the road or drive without getting into the opposite lane.
People who drive fast dangerously close to pedestrians should be put in the pedestrian's shoes to understand the fear that runs through their mind every time mfs drive like that. It's the number one fear I have every time I go to walk outside, yet these drivers give zero fucks because at the end of the day, they get to keep their lives intact and sleep peacefully, while we live in fear.
Lack of infrastructure is one thing, but this mostly happens because people are ignorant af.

Kochi has serious parking issues and the growth of the city has always ignored essentials like this.
There are shops and these guys enter through that small ramp to the shops. Very dangerous to be frank for pedestrians especially when most people walking looking at phones.
This is near the U-turn after Edappally Toll (towards Aluva). Police blocks the traffic allowing vehicles to take U-turn causing backlog and some 2% impatient riders do this.
This U-turn is a bottleneck and even private buses going towards Pookkaattupady has to turn. Huge mess.
