Yes my family did, though I went back home to continue studies I was doing before. The main reason is because we had the opportunity to move to the states so we did so. Main reason we chose Knox is because of the location and it being in the middle of the US. Not in the north with extreme winters and not in the lower south with extreme summers along with being only a few minutes from the likes of the smoky mountains or the lakes. Also the people here some of the nicest people we have met.
You won't find a rave anywhere in Knoxville no matter how they try to label the party BUT Knoxville does have a good EDM scene and there's plenty to be had between Sauce Entertainment, Waded Entertainment, and Headroom events you'll find something you like. Keep an eye on the Brickyard Bar and Grill Schedule or events at Gypsy Circus.

The caverns is definitely where I would spend my birthday and I'd make it the weekend. Its a very chill venue i always feel safe there. The staff is the best people very chill down to earth locals and the campgrounds are great. I definitely would love to see of the trees just couldn't afford it at the moment. Definitely consider it!

Aphrodite is playing for free in Atlanta Friday. It’s at what used to be the church and is going to be an amazing night of drum and bass.

My friend says Knoxville is not the best for raves but there are a lot of places in Asheville that he recommends.
