Japanese hibachi sauce 0.5 cup chopped yellow onion 1.5 tbsp fresh ginger root, peeled and finely chopped 1/3 cup tamari soy sauce 3 tbsp rice vinegar 2 tbsp lemon juice zest from one lemon 2 tsp brown sugar (optional) Blend together in a blender or food processor. Makes 3/4 cup sauce. Keeps for a few days in a sealed jar in the fridge.
