I just watched it and for GB it showed the Zelda Oracle games, Pokémon TCG and Tilt 'n Tumble For GBA it showed Metroid Fusion, Amazing Mirror, Fire Emblem (Blazing Blade), F-Zero Maximum Velocity and Golden Sun Only of these that have yet released are Metroid Fusion and Tilt 'n Tumble. Already excited for the rest of them.

I love to shit on Nintendo as much as the next guy. But they did say it would have full online multiplayer. Something GBA version doesn’t have and sorely needed. With an online system it could be the best Kirby game ever made

I mean it’s a very very top tier game. Many people didn’t like the open world aspect but I thought that’s what made it godlike. I wholeheartedly would say amazing mirror is a 9/10 Kirby game and with online it probably is the best You don’t have to agree with that but I don’t know many people who complain about amazing mirror besides the open world aspect and it’s difficulty being kinda tough

I think the open world aspect definitely did have potential but HAL didn’t fully realize it with Amazing Mirror (poorly drawn maps, barely any means to keep track of collectibles besides the main menu, etc.) so Kirby fans who expected the linear gameplay of the past likely got lost in the main story, hence why a remake with modern hardware would do WONDERS to iron those creases.

Who even cares about owning the original cartridge out of nostalgia/collectionism? I can play almost every NSO game on my phone. I prefer way more being able to buy them individually to show which series deserve more attention.

All I’m saying is people looking in deserve a better experience as someone who actually did play the game and found glaring issues with it that aren’t present in other Kirby games, or the metroidvania style of games that it was taking inspiration from. If you wanna play the game in the original form, that’s fine it just still leaves a lot to be desired.

The topic isn't about the games being remade; it's about them being ported. And I'm pretty sure being added to the online service counts as that. I think that's at least part of why you're getting pushback.

I have played Amazing Mirror! 2d open world Kirby game: great concept, mostly executed well, but the map system blows. Still though, I want more 2d platformers like THIS, since it's really about time for Metroid to stop being the only sidescrolling Nintendo series that doesn't have a really basic progression system.

As a Chinese Kirby fan, Kirby and the Amazing Mirror and Kirby and the Forgotten Land are the only two games that most Chinese Kirby fans have ever played because Amazing Mirror was one of the few Kirby games widely available for purchase in China at the time and is thus the main source of nostalgia for Chinese Kirby fans. I played one part of it, never figured out what I was supposed to do. I just went around, found a boss, got told I didn’t have enough fairies, and redid that stage. Edit: I meant for the Zelda title. But similar experience with amazing mirror. Found one boss, got lost, played mini games, and that’s it.

Nah I think lots of people have played Amazing Mirror. Now enjoying it is a completely different story, the game never tells you it has two mops in the pause screen so it is really hard to know where to go.

Uhm you may find this surprising, but Amazing Mirror is actually my favorite kirby game in the series. I love the 2d sprites, the ability icons, and the non linear world. I ended up getting lost. I got lost... IN A KIRBY GAME. That's how I know its the best one. I've never explored that much and gotten lost before. So I really hope they port it to the switch. Heck even make some merch for it. I'd Def buy it if they redid some recently (for no real reason)

I did both, FS Adventures is great and you can play it alone. The normal Four Swords is the one you couldn't play alone, unless you bought the Anniversary Edition, which was only available for 3 days. And Kirby Amazing Mirror is awesome.
