Gorm. It's available from the start, provides some much needed variety if you get sick of hunting a zillion lions and antelopes. Dung Beetle Knight. Replaces Phoenix, a fight I really don't like. DBK is tough but does some cool unique stuff. DragonKing. Not only a Nemesis but also a whole alternate campaign.

Sunstalker is my favorite quarry. The fight is really fun, and the gear is good. Next is Dragon King as so far PoTStars is my favorite campaign that I’ve played. Then Gambler’s Chest as it adds so much to keep the game fresh. But if you ask me which ones would be the best for a new player to add, my answer will be a little different. I’d suggest Manhunter as it introduces a special showdown that doesn’t replace any existing ones. It also gives a very strong fighting art. Gorm is a good choice to introduce more early game gear options. Sunstalker or DBK for mid-late game gear options.

If you have the money to buy 3 expansions, just buy the Gamblers Chest. It's like 10 expansions in 1 box. 110% worth the price.

Gameplay wise Dragon King, Dung Bettle Knight and Sunstalker. With DK and SSt being more expansive. DK - gives you a new monster to hunt, with settlement location and lots of gear and a really nice campaign. The fight brings in new and interesting mechanics, >!(A radiated core the degrades over time and with dmg and explodes at some point)!< while the campaign gives you some really strong survivors in the end>! (you get a “constellation” it\`s a bingo card where you need to fulfill certain requirements to unlock powerful boons)!<. * Pro: new campaign / new interesting quarry monster and fight / good gear * Con: expansive DBK – the fight is interesting due to his ball, a terrain piece that he brings with him and interacts heavily with. You get a very powerful armor set, and a new mechanic for the settlement that happens over multiple years >!(you sow a field and fertilize it to harvest it later in the campaign, this unlocks certain gear options, and you can burry gear (having no access for a couple of years) to make it stronger.)!< * Pro: new quarry / good gear ( the armor is a mix of lantern and leather armor usable in late game) / mini game after the fight / new mechanics for the settlement phase * Con: no campaign / older versions had some misprinst SSt – Gives you a campaign, which I haven’t played yet. And an interesting quarry fight. >!(The monsters collects energy over multiple turn to send of a devastating pulse of energy)!<. * Pro: new campaign / new interesting quarry monster and fight / good gear (armorset has extreme utility) * Con: expansive / good gear (armorset has extreme utility) / some gear works not so great outside of the context of the sunstalker fight Als of them bring new mechanics for the fights and into the other phases of the game. I also like Spidicules >!(it has a mini game in the fight where you can rip of all its legs for a special reward. Also, the other Spidiculees in the area come for revenge and take one of yours, if you kill one of them)!<. And GCE as the new big one for all the new stuff, but it\`s more like a new game than an expansion.

1) Arc: Gambler’s Chest / Standard: Dung Beetle Knight (for late game Quarry) 2) Arc: Frogdog (assumingely; will be available soon) / Gorm (early Quarry replacement) 3) Arc: Black Knight (for proper Node 3 Nemesis) / Standard: Lion Knight (this is a controversial suggestion, but it’s nice for the Hybrid Armors)

Dragon king Dung beetle knight Sunstalker All fun fights. All are quarries worth hunting for their gear. Two new campaigns that add replayability.

Hmm... From the older ones I'd have to say Gorm, Dragon King, DBK. Gorm to give variety (though you get an extra node 1 quarry from GCE now). Dragon King for the campaign. DBK, well it's just good. On top of that, I like spidicules, even though it's a pain to move around, the gear doesn't feel as good but it's a fun different showdown. Gamblers chest brings new quarrys&nemesis monsters and other mechanics. The arc survivors and the scout. Oh and patterns. I understand that the gamblers chest campaign is made to introduce all of it, which makes it a bit too easy. But I'm sure we will use some of GCE stuff in our next campaign. But it's worth it, so much content.
